As an OU i'm used to watching my team win...so i really dont understand why you get so pumped about beating OU, it seems like thats the Highlight of every Big 12 team...to one day beat the Oklahoma Sooners. BOOMER SOONER!!
I'd have liked to have seen more of a "What the hell just happened?" brutal blowout win over Oklahoma with a score of something like 77-14 Colorado. That would have knocked the Sooners off the the Top 25 instantly.

Hawkins sure has done a great job with recruiting, no doubt. And, IMHO, although getting out-of-state studs is very important, what is even more important for Colorado to keep staying good is to do very well recruiting in-state players almost every year. Although Colorado doesn't produce as many players as California, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio, and Florida, Colorado High School Football is somewhat underrated. Who agrees?
I completey agree. Colorado high schools produce a lot of Div 1 talent (or FBS, whatever that name is now), it's just a lot of them don't stay in state. I hope Coach Hawk doesn't forget about the Native Colorodoans.
I am a big buffs fan, but it is laughable to say that Colorado HS football pumps out a lot of FBS recruits. Colorado has 1 4 star recruit this year and like 6 or 7 3 stars. Look at every state in the south and it is clear CO is way behind.
Well folks! The Buffs finished 6-7 and went to a bowl in 2007. And, there are definitely signs that Hawkins is going to do great things. I think the Buffs might very well win 8 or more games in 2008. Why? Because it will be his third season. Not only will his system be even more in place, but it will be the first season where a handful of the great players that he recruited for his system will be starters and regular players. Who agrees?

I was at the game and I didn't see anyone talking shit to Oklahoma fans. Everyone thinks we show no respect because 10 dumb ass fans randomly act out. That happens at every school, we are just watched under a microscope because of past events. Best game I have been to, good way to start off my senior year. GO BUFFS!
What a huge win for Colorado! The Buffs just wouldn't quit and believed that they could win. That sure paid off! What a great coaching job by Hawkins, too! I think that he is going to make them a top team in the country! Amen?
