i want to understand DMC plot...if Sparda 2000 yrs ago decided to protect human world, he defeated Mundus and selaed up the hellgate with his sword and amulet, he lose his demon powers and he became a human, so 1st question: how he entered human world if he sealed up him in the demon world? maybe through other hellgate? or he sealed only his power, not himself? 2) when he entered h/w he began to rule h/w and built Fortuna. Then after 1900+ yrs he met Eva and they married.(2nd part in the 2 post)

Sure, he killed Mundus (as far as we know) but just doing something your father did doesn't necessarily make you stronger than him. I'd say that Dante and Virgil put together (around the time of DMC 4) would probably equal the power of Sparda. But again, as they game never says how strong he is compared to his dad, all we're left with is opinions.

If we're actually pretending 2 isn't just a huge mess that doesn't exist, even creator of 2,3, and 4 said that 2 takes place waaaaaaaaaay after even 4. So, by then Nero would be stronger, and Dante would still be able to kick his to the underworld and back :P
