@vine: How does Jesus being son of God make him God? Didn't u know the God of the Bible has sons by the tons? Read Gen 6:2, 4; Ex 4:22 ; Jer 31:9; Job 1:6, 2:1, 38:7 where the other sons of God r mentioned. Does that make them gods as well?

In Matt 6:6 & 9 Jesus quite EXPLICITLY told his followers to pray to the Father who is the Only True God (Jn 17:3). Jesus too PRAYED to God (Lk 5:16, 6:12) - something which God does NOT do. There is NO salvation to those who claim Jesus as God.

That is such a powerful scene, the Jewish religious leaders were spirtually blind cause they did not reconise the messiah as prophecied by the old testiment prophets like Isaiah. Its a miracle that there are precious Jewish people today accepting Jesus as their Messiah and getting saved by the blood of Christ. I like to think of Jesus when he came to this earth the first as saying: the devil couldn't stop him and the grave couldn't hold him!

This movie is a mix of Matthew's and John's Gospel. The raising of Lazarus and this scene are from John. Several parts of the dialogue at the last supper are from John's Gospel as well. The dialogue with Nicodemus is also only found in John's Gospel. Definitely other scenes, though, that are taken from the synoptics. Not sure what the translation is.

@bjcnv84 To my understanding, it is a mixture of the four (and even then, not in chronological order as the event in them unfold). This scene, however, is based on John 9. This movie is actually VERY scripturally sound. Almost all of the dialog from Jesus is word for word (although not sure from which translation...NKJV? Anyone?).
