Great drumming! This guy on drums is awesome. Maybe the most innovative and unique fills I have ever witnessed. Just the time signiture changes alone are breathtaking. Neil Peart, eat your heart out!
When I heard the introduction for the first time, I could swear he'd start singing "I got my first real six-string, bought it at the five-and-dime"... Seriously, the intro without piano (as in the album "Save Your Prayers") and just with the guitar playing, remembered me a lot Bryan Adams' "Summer of 69".
Both are great songs and this is a nice act, but I keep with the original version.
probably should have dressed like this back in the day and not went the popular hair spray glam way.. maybe would have been taken more seriously, or at least looked "different" from the rest.. who knows..
Pete Way is nothing but a useless drunk. He is much better at making an ass of himself than he is at ATTEMPTING to play a bass guitar. No fool like an old fool. Time to call it a day Pete.....
So funny, I loved this. Was at the gig and was in hysterics watching Pete fall over things. Was also Lee's (drums ex Paradise Lost) first gig with Vaughn.
Danny with Tyketto IIRC, also good melodic rock It's been a long time. Pete got a Visa to the States I think, very good news. UFO tours here soon. Love Waysted as well
Hello there, I totally agree with you on your comment on this song - Fin was by far the best vocalist for the job - even with the bog awful green spandex leggings! This is one of the most precious songs in my collection to lift my spirits if I've had a crap day. I loved it then (when i was 13) and I love it even more now (aged 33 !). Rock on !! Cheers xx
We'll read about Pete Way's death in less than three years.

When you've made even a small fraction of the contribution Pete's made to metal music maybe someone will give a fuck about your opinion.
