@relent107luke He's not drunk or stoned. He acts aloof and careless all the time during shoes and interviews, it's his attitude, being on tv encourages that as well. And he's always making jokes hinting drugs and those kinds of things, usually he says, "WHICH I'M NOT," after. The guy stating they're stoned half their concerts doesn't know anything/much to be assuming that.
One of the few artists who sound great live and there is no lip sync( Justin beber) multiple times he will in the middle of a chrous" I see you back there" then back to the words of a song. Great performer his voice pierces threw any mix and his vocal pitch is pretty much perfect. overall great band.

@lookup34r he also recorded Slide when he was 32...hes 44 now...so i think he sounds just fine. Better than a whole lot of live performers these days thats for sure! and what artist actually sounds like their cd?

This is phenomenal! Everything about it sounds amazing. When Johnny sang "wake up where you are" at 1:24, that was soo awesome! He sounds excellent. Love this band, love this song, and this is such a good performance
@JCunningham0707 Yeah dude i totally agree, its a kinda poppy/funky song, but still with the emotion in it, and all these covers tend to miss out the emotion part. However Boyce Avenues cover is pretty awesome. Is it just me or does it look like the guitars have no leads in them? How does that work?
it's not the guitars themselves that are wireless, you can get wireless recievers for any guitar/amp, if you look at his back when he turns aroun you will notice there's a pack on the back of his strap with with a lead going into the guitar
@lewe178 same way a mic is wireless... the run a short instrument cable (3 footer) to a box on the back of their strap or on a belt.... this sends the signal to the recieving box which puts a short cable either into the pedal board, amp, or DI box.
