Not to mention how bulky his shirt is and that he has pockets in the tail of the jacket. he needs to practice on how to conceal better. he might be the 1st magician i have even watched that i wondered what he was doing. i think the camera pulled away often because his trick was so obvious.
This is a perfect routine.,but ,it does not fit in your character at all.
I think every trick,or illusion from you needs a twist. It like your a goth/punk magician doing Lance Burtons act. Why not pretend to rip,or cut the birds head off(even with blood) ,toss in the air it vanishes and re-appears.
His slite of hand is incredible, his dress and persona is very original and extremely cool at the same time. I hope dan gets all the recognition he diserves

He is very "Valentino" but its awesome how he is talking to himself it adds to the crazyness
