  • You have to LOVE Savage . He's the ONLY one who could dress like that and STILL look intimidating .

  • theres only like a few 1000 fans there lol

  • WCW 96-98 was outstanding stuff.

  • hogan turns his back on his beloved fans & joins the new world order......sting, lugar, savage, flair & the 4horseman combat the nWo....WCW then turn their back on sting because of the fake nWo sting....great storyline from 96-late 97.....wcw's best years

  • RIP MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE

  • "He didn't get hurt... He fainted when he saw us!" LOL!!

  • one thing is no one ever physically attacked mean jean

  • @zoltron30 I bet he had a clause in his contract that no one could touch him.

  • @rondunderfunk Looks like it. Nearly 30 Years and not a scratch

  • Nice fanny pack Nash

  • one thing wrestlings missing today ..... PASSION

  • "Gentlemen, I will continue working for Turner Broadcasting" lol

  • Odd thing is macho man wore that same hat and glasses when he joined the nwo black and white.

  • I love Sting and Macho promo. really legends!

  • see, its the little things that noone noticed that ended up killing wcw..sure, the whole outsiders thing was awesome and revolutionary, but...notice how quickly all the attention was taken away from a good match as soon as they showed up...what shoulda happened, and what woulda made more sense, was if arn and sting put the match aside and united against hall and nash, and forgot the match , rather then have it end in a split second when arn botched a ddt and then sting submitted him....stupid!!!

  • You could feel the pall over the whole show- it was like somebody had died. Amazing how well they did it all.

  • Arn Anderson Fail at 2:20 Sting Win! lol

  • "we gotta crash the party? you should be begging us to come in the door." fucking awesome Hall was so cool and the best part of the nWo he brought them their swag.

  • @rpowers3677 WCW was bar-none the best gai-jin (American) wrestling league ever and I personally believe it was even better than Japan's best circuits (New Japan, All Japan and GAEA) when WCW was going strong. When gai-jin wrestling (which is typically dumbed down with stupid, unbelievable and campy storylines) can beat out Japan's wrestling (which has minimal silly storylines and better trained wrestlers) then you know you have a winner.

  • RIP Macho Man

  • Eric Bischoff as a commentator? Ha.

  • So, Hogan comes out and makes it a 3 on 3 even match up, instead of joining in for a 4 on 2 gang up, and that's a heel thing to do. Right? That's the part that never quite made sense to me. :)

  • @ebailey140 The rationale that Shivonne said in the match was that Luger was injured early in the match and was carted away on a stretcher and that he could be replaced in the match the way it was structured. Dumb rationale yes, but that was where they were trying to go with it. Hogan siding with the bad guys anyway was enough to grasp at straws.

  • @ebailey140 they where only 3 during the time, dumb ass

  • @cisco19 I know you're just trolling, but do the math.

  • @ebailey140 it was supposed to show that he was the commander, he commanded the heels. making him like the traditional heel, which is having his partners do the dirty work.

  • @ebailey140 Hogan came out long after Luger was injured and taken to the back. So he made it 3 on 2.. hence a "heel thing" to do as you say.

  • Sweet fanny pack Nash

  • savage was the best!!

  • The older version of sting I liked a lot better. He appeared like a better wrestler to me.

  • this was probably stings most intense promos

  • I think the only way the WWE got higher ratings was the loyal fans were holding out hoping for something more from them and it never came. Then when it became obvious that it wasn't going to be as good as WCW, they changed the channel. I for one just used to flip the channel constantly, going back and forth, but wound up where I didn't watch the WWE anymore. It sucks no one can do story lines like this anymore.

  • macho man is the most.

  • the good ol days

  • "Thank you gentlemen I dont like what I hear" HAHA

  • austin 3:16 era wasn't even close to the nwo era

  • @cpmg1978 I disagree

  • @cpmg1978 you're right..it surpassed it

  • nwo was a cancer to the biz

  • it wouldve been so awesome if arn had turned on wcw the inforcer of the nwo how epic

  • one grain of sand in the sahara desert!!! lol hahaha funny shit!!!

  • is this tinmans edits.

  • yeah, pretty sure tinman had the exact same video. Otherwise thank you for reuploading these. Havent had my WCW fix in a while. Keep it up.

  • Great promo by Sting , doesn't get this good anymore.

  • Bischoff took a Big gamble turning Hogan Heel and it payed off big time.Very clever and a very good buisness move up until he let the wrestlers run riot and he lost control thanks to Time Warner and AOL dickheads telling him what to do.

  • 10:17 Scott Hall says "and Luger, he didn't get hurt....he fainted when he saw us chico".....LMAO

  • @lawabider41 Cant help but laugh

  • @lawabider41 God you gotta love it right? Hall is THE BEST! An nWo is not an nWo without Scott Hall.

  • @johnlucas1 agreed... nWo had almost no identity when hall was not there. and when scott hall was there, they were the best thing in wrestling.

  • you Fans stick it brothers

  • Somebody need to upload the Arn Anderson & Kevin Sullivan promo based off of the Hogan events. Those were good

  • wcw at its best nothing will be as good

  • @rpowers3677

the austin 3:16 era was better

  • @youngron707 ok

  • ya riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork

take Scott Hall out of the mix and there is no "NWO"

Hall continued the Razor Ramon attitude after returning to WCW, an attitude which Vince created.

Austin 3:16 era was bigger than WCW Goldberg, and Goldberg was hotter than the first year of NWO. so what does that tell you?

  • @youngron707 it tells me that you're young and clueless because the highest ratings ever were with wcw when sting was doing the crow thing.

i'm not saying austin was big but he is small when compared to sting because redneck retards from texas don't grab the masses. a super hero ala sting does.

btw I never said hall sucked. he was great but let's be honest, he ripped off an italian stalone rocky HEY YO attitude. just like andrew dice clay. not razor ramone.

    he ditched the cuban thing

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork psh...

fuck off u think u know it all?

" hey yo" was two combined phrases used by wwf's razor ramon.

and the "crow" sting was wack after awhile.

and if i "was young" i wouldnt know about austin over 10 years ago.

you try to talk shit n the web cause anywhere else you'ld be eatin your teeth after gettin em kicked in.

wcw is dead. if any of it was worth a shyt then why are they just a memory KID?

  • @youngron707 to be fair, WCW is dead because of the AOL/Time Warner merge and the new guys didnt want a wrestling show on their network, its true that in the last year or two WCW got a little bit stale but WWE is more stale now then WCW ever was, and your saying you would kick somebody teeth in about wrestling??

    haha, you sad twat

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork Actually Raws highest rating was an 8.1 on May 10th 1999 whereas Nitro's highest was 6.0 on August 31st 1998. WCW in 1997 was averaging around a 4.0 whereas the WWE was averaging 4.5 - 5.0 during the 1998 Austin era.

So to summarise the highest ever ratings were around the Corperation/Corperate Ministry vs Austin era and not when Sting was doing the Crow thing. Just felt the need to point that out.

  • @1981bigdee first of all, you're making those statistics up. Second of all, you can't argue that sting didn't have a greater historical impact than stone cold. Sting was simply greater longer, proved by my true statistic that he won most popular wrestler in 91, 96, and 97

  • @poethepoetspoet Im not making them up. seriously, look it up, its true. I didnt write that stuff to have a pop at you, i just felt i need to present the facts. Sting was incredible and has been so for the past 23 years. All I was saying was the highest ever ratings were around mid 99. Sorry, dude.

  • @poethepoetspoet just noticed it wasnt you who did the original post, sorry my bad.

  • @rpowers3677 something was better! it was called the wwf attitude era!

  • @rpowers3677 great comment

  • I remember watching this show. It felt like I was watching something from the twilight zone. Hogan a heel?? Never saw it coming, never thought Bischoff would have the balls to pull off something so bold. Stinger really put the cherry on top with his promo.

  • Comment removed

  • very touching emotional promo by Sting...one of the greatest promos of all time!

  • Sting--"No Hulk, YOU STICK IT." Then it was great when he yelled out "YOU STICK IT".

  • @BillyCraven21 I know, I love how this was the beginning of the dark Sting. He was so angry and so emotional here but after awhile he just grew cold and callous, he knew things were changing and needed to change too. Stings character lost hope and became the guy whose mindset was in order to beat them you have to think like them. I loved it.

  • @BillyCraven21

Yeah, Sting said what we all were feeling! We were in total shock!!
