Her old voice actor was the same from Warcraft III.

It will always be better.

I presume Blizzard/Activision didn't want to pay their old voice actors royalty fees and thus got new ones for Arthas, Sylvanas, Varimathras, Lich King, Kel'Thuzad, and any others I forget to mention.

@sinical10 I know its an old post, but they didn't give Kel'Thuzad a new voice because of the royalty fee problem. It was simply because the voice actor also gave voice to Uther the Lightbringer. and when they gave Uther his ghost like voice, he sounded too familiar with the old Kel'Thuzad voice, thus giving Kel'Thuzad a new voice since he wouldn't play a big role like Uther.

Actually they still hire the Old Kel'thuzad voice for the Lich King and Uther. They changed Kels voice cause else it would sound too simalar to LK which is a stupid reason imo since we already have 15+ people that sounds like Thrall >.>

She pronounces things too much, it's like when people overpronounce Chinese. The echo is too much echo, and she sounds like she's underwater. I like the new one better, I feel like if they had used more dilute effects and had the voice actress tone it down, I might have liked the old version of Sylvanas' voice better.

@DevilChildVorn It's the same actress, but all blizz did was rip the sounds for Sylvanas from Warcraft III for the original voice. saddly you can't tell in this video, but in WoW(before the change) you can hear the Aubience slightly... I miss the old voice, she sounded pissed off, the new 1 sads sad rather than angry, and she speak way too proper...
