while i can understand ones disdain for middle eastern influence in american fashion... must u be so closed minded... ralph lauren is the richest and most influential fashion designer in all the world... WORLD... i dont believe he has the luxury to lend had exclusively to USA classics. hes a designer that follows his gut, and that has yet to lead him astray...
yeah.. a little color wouldn't have hurt my feelings either - or maybe a nice print. Sure the cuts are nice.. but *yawn* we know RL can cut on the bias.
RL is usually my favorite designer but this collection for Spring 09 leaves me cold! I love the satin and silky flowing fabrics but the turbans HAVE to go. What is this...Afganistan?? NOT! With this economy, we need to get back to classics, not flashy gold- toned, turban-topped COSTUMES. I wouldn't wear most of this out of the house!! PLEASE Ralph, give us classics, something that says "value" at a terrible economic time like this!
RL timeless... priceless... what can we say?
What about the music at 1:59? Does anyone know who is it, please? Thank you for posting :)

Dear Ralph Lauren,
one of my favorite collections, but the girl on 0:43 should be in intensive care
not on the runway.
