Resurrection?, never reported by the Romans, dead people walking round the town...ditto, Jesus only died for THREE DAYS, not forever like the rest of us, there has been no observed intervention in any disaster or holocaust EVER. Diseases were cured by Science (Antibiotics in 1945) not job or moses. God was an ethnic cleanser (midianites), a child killer (she bears, 42 children), god allowed incest (lot), god allowed lying (Abraham), god murdered onan and allowed the rape of women
1. No, there doesn't need to be an uncaused cause. Existence could be cyclical. The universe could be eternal. There could be any number of causes for life, the universe, and everything.
2. Odds are not substitutes for evidence. There is so much evidence in favor of evolution, and no scientific evidence contradicting it.
3. People did believe in fairies, unicorns, and demons, so how are their beliefs more ridiculous than yours?
5. While that is true, it is also misleading. A lack of belief in gods doesn't equate to morality any more than a belief in gods. What leads to morality are things such as compassion, empathy, and a desire to make the world a better place. That cannot preached, it is something you learn through social interaction, and is guided by your genetics and culture.
6. The four question. A. My parents fucked. B. Each individual decides that, or sex. C. See 5. D. you decompose or burn.

#5. What about the law or someone like ghandi or philosophers, but if you choose moral passages from the bible (and ignore the slavery, gender bias, and bloodshed) so be it, if you need it for morals i dont know what to say to that.
#6. origin:I was born / meaning:to live / Morality: I use my judgement using my brain/ Destiny: I will no longer live when i die
#2. Doesn't that show God didn't want us to live on earth?
#3. Atheists don't use analogies (ie flying spaghetti monster ect) as evidence for their position they use them in hopes of getting christains (or other religous followers) to understand further their point of view.
#4. This was very vague, so this is a vague response but back in biblical times many people were crucified, it was the roman form of capital punishment
continued. every historical contention of religion has fell flat . while this does not prove god as false it shows that he is unlikely (isn't this a better more fair statement then sayig he is true with no actual evidence who is more opened minded and unbias?)
your right! in the world of imagining fictional characters into being by repeating things you have heard called heresay.now prove to me the hardy boys or nancy drew don't exist there is a whole series of books with a moral behind them. they must exist! we have boys and girls so they too must by extention be true.if I use any of the logic you use to create supernatural beings out of stories told to you by no experience but what you hope is true. god raises more questions then answers
But those easy answers are of the imagination, unsubstantiated ancient guesses taken as truth, and not backed by the millions of man-hours spent investigating the planet for facts.
I'm confused whether you are serious in these judgements about atheism. If you are serious than we need to talk, or talk to any other educated atheist. Everything you have said about atheism is misguided and inaccurate. Even more untrue are your scientific claims... If your are just being ironic then you have done an amazing job, this video is hilarious!
There has to be a causeless cause that started everything. It is immaterial, spaceless, and timeless, because matter, space, and time are finite. And that, my friends, is Odin.
Well, I managed to stay awake for the whole 4 minute video, and, as I expected, not a single GOOD reason for believing in your fairy tale. Nothing but lies and stupid claims(none of which were proven). Another christian fails to defend his belief in fairy tales. Oh well, they've been failing for 2000 years. Not surprising this idiot would fail too. He's hardly an intellectual.
This is a funny video. I hope you are joking and aren't seriously claiming these stupid lies are actual arguments. You are kidding, right?
First argument: You pull a rule out of your ass, then claim it applies to the whole universe. If you want to claim your ass-pulled rule is true, you need to prove it. Claiming it's true doesn't prove it. It just proves you're an idiot.
#2: Meaning - Reproduce to keep the species going.
#3: Morality - Like the christian bible has a good morality about it. Slave the coloured people, kill the homosexuals, prostitute out daughters. I get a good feeling being nice to people, but feel bad if I'm not. I'll do nice things for people. disprove that!
#4: Destiny - Death leads to nothingness. When your brain stops, so does your consciousness. No heaven nor hell. Just nothing.
5: Morals are not provided by the Bible either, since every moral dictate contained within is either commanded alternately in the Bible, or broken by GOD, himself.
6: Origin... The universe. all things begin and end with the universe. It is all one big organism. Meaning... to live and propagate DNA. to expend and consume energy.
Morality... is determined by social convention and interaction.
Destiny... to be reconstituted by the universe into another form.
@frankleeseaux wrong... the moral compass is hard wired within us when God created us in his likeness.. image... when we feel guilty or wronged someone we are merely reflecting the God nature within us..
@6gunwalker I'm assuming you have evidence in support of this notion? And, that you can answer how it is moral to rape a young girl so long as you force her to marry you afterward? And, how it is moral to murder all those who disagree with you and your notion of what GOD is? Yeah, that's right... it ain't just Muslims who say that... It's in the Judeo-Christian Bible as well. Jesus did not come to eliminate any of the laws of the Old Testament. That was your only argument with me?
@frankleeseaux please point to me where in the bible God openly says go and rape, go and murder randomly... please show me sir! lol God in the old testament only says things like "ive handed your enemies into your hands" the rest of the decrees of the rules of warfare come from men.. lawmakers, moses.. as i said earlier Jesus did away with most of moses laws.. (which were stupid ones really) he fulfilled it.. ultimately the jews who thought this was blasphemy wanted to kill Jesus
@6gunwalker First of all, I don't believe I ever suggested "random" anything, much less rape or murder. But, if you are prepared to have your faith tested to its limits then read the Bible from cover to cover and actually think about ever sentence. Or you can look up evil Bible on the internet. There they quote the Bible verse for verse and list the passages being quoted. Rape, murder, war, etc... It all in there.
@frankleeseaux ive read the bible extensively with a open mind and open scope of views and possibilities... my faith is rock solid... nothing can move it.. not even the stupidity of atheism which i laugh at lol you on the other hand based on your comments know little about the bible.. lol its blatantly evident youre a googler lol
@6gunwalker Based on the following quote from you: "my faith is rock solid... nothing can move it.. not even the stupidity of atheism which i laugh at" I seriously doubt the next quote to follow, "ive read the bible extensively with a open mind and open scope of views and possibilities."
No one who claims to have unshakable faith, and who gives unquestioning loyalty, can claim to have an open mind. It is literally impossible.
@6gunwalker "stupidity of atheism" ??? Let me ask you a question...
Do you believe in the stories of Hercules? Zeus? Hera? Thor?
Or, are you skeptical about such things? What about Evolution? Do you believe in it? Or, are you skeptical about that? What about the Big Bang? Believer, or skeptic?
Would you consider it to be stupid to be skeptical of any of those things?
@frankleeseaux I wish Greek or Norse mythology made it to the current day instead of boring old Christianity. I'd take stories about slaying monsters and fighting giants over multiplying bread and fish or making a bunch of demon possessed pigs kill themselves any day.
@werebee At least those people, at those times, and within those religions didn't assume that people were mocking them simply by believing differently, or disbelieving what they believed. And, in those cases, it was actually okay to point out the fallibility, and rotten nature of those gods. But, I'm still holding out for an answer to my query from the person I originally addressed with it.
@frankleeseaux zeua, hercules hara thor are all beliefs that have no relevance to our existence, universe, our origins and where we are going (future). no relevence to reality whatsoever. if anything these ancient beliefs are evidence that we humans are hard wired to worship something.. we have that instinctive natrual need to worship a greater enitity... this by no means merits that there must be a God, but INDICATES TO OUR HUMAN BEHAVIOR THAT WE NATRUALLY WANT TO WORSHIP.
@FourDeuce01 friend clearly this discussion is way over your range. ill end it here to save you further confusion as you are not able to engage with me intellectually.
@6gunwalker By the way... it has been shown that children, and all people, have a natural tendency to seek patterns. This pattern recognition is essential to survival of the species. Because we are natural pattern seekers, we tend to find them, even where none are present. This has the resultant effect of causing us to perceive a grand design, and thus a grand designer. Adults who, despite aging and schooling/experience, still believe the grand designer are thinking like children.
@frankleeseaux you have a valid point and it can be scientifically verified... but ive been down this path of cognitive reasoning of our human nature to worship.. however its overwhelmingly evident that this argument is only explaining THE HOW BUT NOT THE WHY. meaning half the answer.. we can scientifically verify the instinctive tendency to worship but we also have to explain why its natrual to us concluding what purpose is it that we all have this need to worship.
@6gunwalker The why? That is a slippery slope my friend. But, since you've broached the subject, how about this? Perhaps the reason we are prone to worship is not because of the worship part. But, because of the pattern recognition part of the equation. Patten recognition is important to survival, as pointed out, and apparently agreed to before. Therefore, it is logical to suggest that the pattern recognition is the thing that causes us to make that leap of logic, and assume a deity.
@frankleeseaux im sorry friend but explaining the cognitive works of worship does not answer why its in us natrually in the first place... pattern recognition may be an argument for logic and reasoning developments but i dont think it answers the human natrual tendency to worship a higher authority..
@FourDeuce01 when i hear people say "look at the billions of humans on earth that WORSHIP a god, a deity, a higher power and then conclude there must be a God" i actually laugh... but in my observations as a christian theist i believe the passage in the bible "let us make man in our image, likeness." is a good starting point as humans are merely reflecting what God has harwired within us.. worship, moral compass, love, i never claimed i cud prove it nethier could you prove othrwise
@6gunwalker It isn't in us naturally in the first place. I've already demonstrated that it is in us secondarily, at best, if at all. In other words, the presence of a tendency to believe in and or worship the supernatural/metaphysical is a direct result of, and effect of the causal agent within, the pattern seeking behavior. This fact, you acknowledged, so long as it supported your claim of "natural worship." When your misinterpretation was pointed out, you dismissed the notion.
@6gunwalker I am glad you were able to realize, and willing to admit that your argument does not serve as evidence, or proof of the existence of a GOD. Are you skeptical of the possible existence of those previously mentioned deities? Or, do you believe they were killed and replaced by the Christian GOD? Or, do you believe they were falsely worshiped, and the Greeks and Norse were finally convinced how mistaken they were when they met a few Christians?
@frankleeseaux it is not a valid logical argument to say most humans historically and currently believe in a diety or god therefore a God must exist.. however i feel that this pattern of human tendancies HIGHLIGHTS the natrual behavior hardwired within us to want to worship.. this can be a valid argument INDICTIVE TO AN EXISTENCE OF A GOD for why we behave in this manner.
@6gunwalker You see here? In this, and previous instances, you are make the logical leap that it is the worship which is the natural tendency, rather than the pattern recognition which leads to the notion of worship.
@frankleeseaux i dont believe that the christian God was a replicate of any other gods or deities pre christian.. the important event of christianity "the ressurection" is one aspect that isnt found in any pre ancient beliefs.. and the exact timing of the life of christ is significant in history as demographicists assert that in this particular point in time A.D the population of the world increased in a rapid rate.
@6gunwalker I believe you have misread the evidence. The evidence does not necessarily suggest we are hardwired for worship. But, we are demonstrably hardwired for pattern recognition. This hard wiring sets us up for perception of a grand design, and consequently, for a grand designer. But, consider self organizing systems, such as electro-magnetics, atomic and molecular attraction, and strange attraction. Thus reducing, or eliminating, the notion of chance or random coincidence.
@frankleeseaux i have scientific reasons not to believe in evolution. Scientists from the Human Genome Project discovered millions of genes in our DNA that are not found in any other animal, creature on earth! scientists have also dismissed that these genes mutated but conclude that they have been traits in our genome since our origin. theyve named this "extraterrestrial genes". how do you think it sits with evolution when its not found in apes???
@frankleeseaux sources for what?? and to answer your question.. no its not stupid to be skepitical about any of the subjects ive mention... in fact i encourage it.. at 17 i dismissed my catholic tradition as absurd( and i still do) concluding that i was agnostic.. years later i discovered i had far more reasons to belive that there is a God then reasons that there isnt.. i later concluded that having theagnostic view of "i dont know" was a cop out and that i needed to choose.
@6gunwalker The sources in request are those which provide you with scientific reason to doubt evolution. Also, you have agreed that it is not stupid to doubt anything we have been discussing here. Therefore, you are admitting that it was poor judgment on your part to call atheists stupid. Agnosticism is a cop out. I'm glad we can agree on something. So, I urge you to consider how you have been thinking of atheists, and amend those ways. By the way, your choice was made long before.
@frankleeseaux so if there were laws in the book of deuteronomy such as "anyone caught not observing the sabbath must be put to death" and Jesus comes along and heals the sick ON THE SABBATH which contradicts moses laws. he then tells the jewish teachers to use thier common sense and that God still works through the sabbath healing and helping people.. whats the point of observing the sabbath and being strict to it when someone is lying helpless in need of help? lol
@6gunwalker It is shown, in the Bible, that Jesus did not break any commandments of Mosaic laws... ever. All done by wording of those laws, and specificity of action. And, Christ, on several instances, admonished that all people should observe the laws of Moses until the end of days, or until those laws have been fulfilled.
@frankleeseaux friend by your own admissions i can tell you have not read the bible.. Jesus specifically dismisses moses decrees of "unclean foods and unclean rituals" of deuteronomy... and youll find this in Mark 7.. people mix up what moses says and what God commands in the old testament.. God does not contradict himself. jesus doesnt contradict God but dismisses moses decrees.. hence why people are ignorant of the bible claiming "hypocrisy" when theyve never fully undrstood it
"by your own admissions i can tell you have not read the bible."
If it's "by his own admissions", then you don't need to "tell" that. Can you quote where he admitted that? Looks like you lied again. "hence why people are ignorant of the bible claiming "hypocrisy" when theyve never fully undrstood it"
And you are implying that you "fully undrstood it"? You fully understood your book of fairy tales?
@SuperBspb sorry. NO. your ignorant comment only suggests one thing to me about your lack of understanding pertaining to the bible. Never had time for the bible therefore ill listen to hearsay instead..
"Alright, how come the rules change when God never changes?"
Another thing I consider important is "Why doesn't the christian god have to follow the rules he made for THEM to follow?". That's a bit hypocritical.
@frankleeseaux so then if jesus comes along and corrects the teachers on how GOD REALLY DEFINES HIS LAWS... AND DISMISSES MOSES LAWS, HOW CAN ANYONE SAY THAT GOD DECREED THOSE LAWS IN THE FIRST PLACE??? MAJORITY OF THE OLD TESTAMENT LAWS ARE MANMADE, GOD DOES NOT SEND JESUS TO CONTRADICT HIMSELF IN THE OLD TESTAMENT.. HE SENT JESUS TO FULFILL IT BY EXPLAINING WHAT GOD REALLY INTENDS LOL
@6gunwalker Jesus Christ, according to the Bible, NEVER dismissed the laws of Moses or Abraham. Get your facts straight. Read the books for yourself. Don't expect some minister to know what he's talking about, or to be honest when talking. They all make lots of money talking about this subject. I'm doing it for free as a hobby.
@frankleeseaux lol your making it too easy for me when you make comments like that.. no.1 abraham never had any laws lol 2. jesus dismisses the moses laws of observing the sabbath and unclean washing of hands and unclean foods and fulfills with what God actually wants lol now i know you made yourself out to be a sitting duck with a clumsy comment like that but to tell me to read the bible when youve clearly havent read it is beyond stupid lol
Is there a prize for Stupidity? Like the Nobel Prize but for Ignorance where they give a Million Dollars for Outstanding Contributions to the World of Stupidity?
There most be... that's the only explanation to upload videos like this one and show your face in them.
What a load of rubbish. Atheism does nothing else except state it sees no evidence for a god - ANY god! Show some verifiable evidence and we'll take it from there. Till then, your ridiculous assertions and lack of knowledge make you laughable.
Christian writers who studied the Murray O'Hair family saga later wrote years later that they should have kept their mouths shut and allowed Madalyn to have her right to refuse prayer in public schooling; but, they had failed to see the bigger picture and have regretted it ever since.
Christians shouldn't be so quick to criticize this type of Atheist because he/she is actually giving the Christian the benefit of the doubt to demonstrate the truth of his/her assertions! We've already witnessed in the circumstances of Madalyn Murray O'Hair and her court litigation against mandatory Bible recitation how Christians judge situations and/or people without having their background information correct.
Which can be answered in two ways from Atheist! Either you A). believe there is no God or B). simply without belief and remain open to the possibility that God could exist; but, further evidence needs to be demonstrated.
Nevertheless, I often recommend the writings of Boston University philosopher Michael Martin in his book "Atheism: A Philosophical Justification" for a more comprehensive understanding of Atheism and the myriad sub categories of Atheism one comes to discover exist when answering the question 'Do you believe in God'?
There is a huge dichotomy here, Mr. Ministry, and it's quite comical that you waste two minutes on a video criticizing Atheism; yet, fail to have an intermediate level understanding of Atheism as taught in an Atheist 101 course textbook from an Atheist non-profit organization e.t.c.
True! However, the belief that there are no Gods isn't a hallmark of most Atheist. Most Atheist are simply without belief in God while only a small select few believe there is no God. The problem, Mr. Ministry, is that you and other Christian apologist confuse Positive Atheism (i.e. belief there is no God) with Negative Atheism (i.e. lack of belief there is a God).
Am I willing to risk my eternal life? I love that question, it's pretty good. The answer: yes, I am. This is because:
When I was a Christian, I firmly believed all good people went to heaven, regardless of their beliefs. If this is the heaven that exists, I'll be admitted anyway. If not, then I don't want to be there when people like Anne Frank will be in hell because they didn't believe in the right God. Hell must be full of awesome people, separate from those who were actually assholes.
@LoveAndHearts0 your thinking is one of youth and inexperience... you have alot to learn about how God works.. i feel your perceptions of God have been diminshed by pathetic dont have a clue christian idiots who push people away...
@6gunwalker You suggest that it is true without any apparent understanding of how the people came to the notions that they did given the time period and cultural context of their lives... You claims that the biblical presentation of a god was not responsible for the atrocities in the OT is NOT supported and I would dare say supportable - given the admission of guilt in the book of JOB....LOL
@6gunwalker It actually doesn't have as much to do with God as it does with logic. I've read the bible, I know how God is portrayed and I know what I believed him to be. I just don't think he exists because evidence points in a different direction. Maybe I have a wrong perception of God in your opinion, but I still don't think he exists. I feel like you think it's because I don't want him to exist because of the way I think he is. That's not it, the existence of a God doesn't make sense to me.
@LoveAndHearts0 im interested to know what or where in the bible you percieve to where it points to absurdities... im very interested to know not to correct you but to add to my knowledge... thanx
@MegaBlueZOMBIE a very simple and trivial myth that can easily be put to rest... give me the book that talks about the speggetti monster, witnessess, names of scholars who vouch for the authenticity of the speggetti monster... give me the nature and scientific arguments that points to the existence of the spegghetti monster... once you have done this then we can draw conclusions... ill be waiting
@6gunwalker well you think someone invented everything correct? why the christian God, why not the spaghetti monster? why not allah? why not all the other bullshit Gods, and there is nobody who vouces for the authenticity of God..that doesn't make sense..he hasn't been proven to exist, and there is no evidence for him, just dunderheads like you desperately want to believe and are not intelligent enough t understand science so just parrot bullshit like "UHH THE EYE IT TO PERFECT DUR"
@MegaBlueZOMBIE lol i thought so... you tried the old silly spaghetti monster or tooth fairy or santa claus argument whatever and when i asked for the witnesses, transcripts, scholarly works etc that asserts a spaghetti monster you couldnt even do that... please dont throw up silly examples that have no standing whatsoever.
@MegaBlueZOMBIE the only thing im questioning is where is the evidence, texts and witnesses that verify that a spaghetti monster exists?? lol im still waiting.. lol since you asked the question why not the spaghetti monster lol
@6gunwalker so you are telling me, if there was a texts and witnesses saying they saw the flying spaghetti monster the flying spaghetti monster would exist. So bigfoot exists? because that had witnesses too you know.
@MegaBlueZOMBIE no im telling you to provide texts, witnesses, scientific study, scholarly works etc on the spaghetti monster so we can assert whether this claim is true or false lol ... ill tell you why you wont be able to do that is because no one in thier right would claim such rubbish lol we can debunk the tooth fairy by putting a tooth under a pilliow and setting up cameras. we can debunk santa claus by looking for his residence in the south pole lol very trivial
@6gunwalker there is no scientific study on the christian(or any god) that proves its existence, just because something is unknown to us now, doesn't mean you should jump to a God and even MORE foolish a specific God(like christian God), look how little we know 100 years ago, and just because something cannot be disproven doesn't prove it's existence, if I say i have an invisible unicorn you can't disprove it, that doesn't mean it exists.
@MegaBlueZOMBIE lol i have far more reasons whether scientific or arguments that point to the extistence of a God then there are reasons for atheism ... far more... ill give you one example.. scientists working on the Human Genome project discovered genes in the DNA that arent found in any other animal on earth.. they named it "extraterrestrial genes" lol now tell me... if evolution claims that we are of the ape branch why isnt this gene found in apes?? lol
@6gunwalker i can eliminate 1by1 or other so called religions and will leave jesus the centre point ,funny how you said 100 years ago we knew little.. when scientists then believed the universe was eternal therefore there was no need for a God creator.. that theory was debunked when thermodynamics shows us that the universe is expanding to the point that it will use up its energy and freeze eventually causing undoubtedly the end of the universe. if theres a end there was a beginning.
@6gunwalker Jesus as presented was better than the OT, however, he is stained by it irredeemably. Religion does nothing for improvement of ANY sort. It improves ONLY when the people improve. If religion was a guiding light, it would be leading the charge to better as opposed to holding on to the abyss of ignorance.
@6gunwalker we are more advanced than apes, so of course our genome would be improving, evolution is an observable FACT. How does that proof the existence of the christian God anyways? Why not Allah? Why not the other 100,000 Gods, how would that piece of misinterpreted(by you) "evidence" prove the fairy tales of the bible and that Jesus ressurected from the tombs and all that bullshit, it doesn't, but you want to believe it so you will, if you look for something, you will find it.
@MegaBlueZOMBIE lol evolution teaches us that we sapiens are a product off the ape branch.. what DNA we have should absolutely be evident in the ape DNA.. however this new discovery of the "extrterrestrial gene" seperates us humans from the apes.. which points to us as a product of creation. lol its funny how now atheists are embracing the possibilty of aliens to bridge the gap lol and as i stated earlier pick any religion or gods and ill be happy to debunk them as false
@6gunwalker and genomes dont mutate its a proven fact that they are traits lol so i dont know how you arrived at the conclusion that our genome is improving lmao islam is a spin off from the christian belief 600years after death. the quran texts are near perfect in the details of the storys which points to human tampering throughout the years. and allah as their depiction has many flaws.. conditional love, mohammed commands his warriors to kill infidels from the saudi peninsula
@6gunwalker A fairy -tale is a fairy-tale there is no need to argue over which one is correct, since, they are ALL fairy-tales. I must thank you, since, I had considered that people were simply too indoctrinated to know better. However, given our interactions, I know you know better. So, the question is why lie and attempt to deceive others. What you do hope to gain in such deceit?
@MyContext lol friend i knew my discussions of references to the biblical stories would be in vein as you dont actually belive in the foundation of the book lol i feel that you are on the bad end of the stick and that you've been had.... for an atheist to think "we are born to die and thats that" is just meaningless.. why? i dont get it? and yet this is the best explanation atheism offers?? why??
@6gunwalker A fiction is no substitute for the truth. If there was a god as depicted in whatever "holy text" there would be collaborating evidence of SOME SORT given there isn't it is clear that it was made up. I wish your notions weren't dependent on the myths of the past. However, if you study what is known in anthropology is easily understood.
@MyContext dont assume the bible to be a fiction.. PROVE IT.. lol i dont mean to sound abrupt but you talk like the bible HAS BEEN PROVEN TO BE ABSOLUTELY FICTATIOUS lol again you do what most atheists do and thats ASSUME THE BIBLE TO BE FICTION... lol please enlighten me with your anthropology..
@6gunwalker You are right, it isn't totally false. It has pieces of history intermixed with the fiction such as the creation account, tower of babel, and the reserection to name a few. Is there any science that you actually know well enough to see the idiocy that is the bible? Since, the bible shows errors all over, unfortunately everything can be reasonable if one doesn't know any better.
A talking Snake. Creating a fully-formed Human form dirt. Creating a fully-formed Human from a Human created from dirt. The Moon is a light source. The sky is a solid surface. The stars are small objects in the sky which will eventually fall to Earth. Fitting two of every species in existence on a boat. Earth is motionless. Earth existed before the Sun. Bats are Birds.
@troy2062 very trivial snake, serpent.. a overwhelming symbol of satan.. the ways of a snake is nature to that of satan.. not an actual snake but a serpent.. creating a human from dirt is scientifically possible if evolution teaches we evolved from a cell lol the moon light source is trivial as it is a source of light at night.. sky a sold surface?? stars are solid objects in the sky?? where in the bible does it have that??
@6gunwalker We are talking about the word of God. There is absolutely no such thing as "trivial". - Job 37:18 - Revelation 8:10 - Genesis 1:15-1:17 - Zechariah 12:1 - Chronicles 16:30 - Leviticus 11:20 "creating a human from dirt is scientifically possible if evolution teaches we evolved from a cell lol" And having read that, I am done with this debate.
@troy2062 many species would have not needed to be in the ark to survive during the flood.. obviously fish species, we can account for crabs, amphibians the likes who did not need to be on the ark.. other species can be individually investigated and verified.. the flood ultimately killed off the dinosaurs whom were not on the ark.. where does it say the earth is motionless please provide the actual text..
@6gunwalker Seriously? Oh my goodness. No other comment comes to mind. Nothing could counter that argument sufficiently for someone as actively ignorant of facts and evidence as you.
@6gunwalker Enjoy your delusion... It is clear that your ignorance of reality and the associated implications will not allow any understanding. You apparently do not understand biology, geology, anthropology, linguistics, geometry (volume), and physics. If you actually understood at least one, you would not make some of the claims you have made. Ignorance allows bad claims...take care...
@MyContext lol trying to excuse your way out are we? lol its ok.. im not going to make excuses for someone who wants to read the bible like a 5year old and purposely does not want to fully understand the texts before passing judgement. i wipe my hands clean with you, your blood is on your own hands, ive tried my best to serve my Lord in helping you see the light, my doors are always open for discussions. May God have mercy.. take care friend.
@FourDeuce01 friend check where your brains is because according to my logic and reasoning an intelligent being or entity had to have caused our existence and the universe.... according to your logic and reasoning the universe came from nothing, and your existence from chance and randomness where the proberbility is stupidly impossible... now you tell me who's brains need to be checked in place? lol
@troy2062 God in his wisdom laid out the earth before the sun and animals for the plants to produce enough oxygen in the atmosphere for animals to survive.. the bat as a bird interpretation may come down to translation of word technacalities from hebrew to greek to latin to english lol a very small argument that is trivial
@troy2062 please continue if you can... lol all your claims are trivial and one by one with a magna scope these claims can be eliminated with science... if you think a talking snake sounds rediculous which it wasnt a snake but the serpent like satan.. then try believing that fish magically grew legs and shapeshifted through different kinds of species to apes and then humans... lol some even magically growing wings lol
@6gunwalker Have you even read the bible? do you know how many people the Christian God mercislessly killed compared to allah in the koran? And how does a gap in evolution prove the christian gods existence? if you were a muslim you would be saying it proved allahs existence, but you were raised in a christian country so are a christian, no you can't disprove any other religion because they are all unverifiable hypothesis and can never be disproven, just in your head.
@MegaBlueZOMBIE another generic atheistic claim but i bet could never back up this claim with scriptrual evidence.. God in the O.T only says things says things like "i have handed your enemies into your hands" never i command you to rape, murder senselessly.. if i grew up in a muslim backround i would convert to the christian faith as islam is obviously stupid.. i can eliminate any religion as absurd.. just pick any and ill be happy to point out the absurdities
@6gunwalker If you grew up in a muslim background you would not convert to Christianity, you would be a devout Muslim as you are a devout Christian now, your parents would have spoon fed you all the fairy tales except this time it would be about Allah and you would believe them just like the bible, you would be a totally differant person if raised in a muslim country. Yes God has told them to kill anyone who disagrees with him, he caused the flood, fucked up Jobe and whatnot.
@MegaBlueZOMBIE i dismissed catholicism as absolutely rubbish by the age of 17.. i grew up in this enviroment... and decided then i was going to be agnostic and suspend any beliefs to "i dont know". i wouldve done the same if i was mormon, muslim, buddhist etc .. they are all white noise and pure naivity to me.... show me please in the bible where God actually says if you dont agree with me i will kill you.. and before the flood noah warned everyone and they LAUGHED.
@MegaBlueZOMBIE furthermore the devil rendered the huge loss of Job as he told God that if you were to remove all the richies and wealth, family etc that a man has EVEN A BELIEVER LIKE JOB WOULD CURSE YOU.... but Job didnt do it... he never cursed God.... God quadrupled Jobs wealth as immense... please extend your breadth of knowledge when applying biblical texts
@6gunwalker Wealth? After ALLOWING his entire family to be destroyed? /%@&%@!!!%!! WEALTH! You showing yourself to be quite AMORAL. The passage is a confession of evil. If god as depictef didn't allow whatever it wouldn't happen. The devil as depicted can't be held responsible for ANYTHING.
@MyContext im sorry sir but you CLEARLY HAVE NOT READ JOB. lol in this book after everything was taken from Job and during his suffering JOB NEVER CURSES GOD... HE ONLY LAMENTS ABOUT HIS SITUATION AND SAYS " IT IS BETTER THAT I WAS NOT BORN"... lol the case of Job is a testamony that GOD does have confidence in us humans that we have FAITH IN HIM no matter what our dire situations maybe.. lol please dont pretend to have read this book as your admissions are incorrect
@6gunwalker I said nothing about Job, I spoke of the ills and confession of responsibility which depicted of god. Which also shows god as depicted being guilty of directing rape, murder, and enslavement. This does include all the petty issues - lots of them. Given our discussion and your apparent state of denial, maybe a book called the EVIL GOD is in order.
@MyContext thats why i asked you to show me where God actually says the words " i command you to rape, murder and enslave" God never says these things... he only tells the israelites that he has already handed thier enemies into thier hands.. (VICTORY).. before the battle has even started.. imagine a General being accused of rape, enslavement etc when all he commanded was that his army engage in warfare, the people who are guilty are the soldiers who did these things out of thier own
@6gunwalker If God is claimed to be all-knowing, then it would only have needed to give directives to the contrary...right? Apparently, it didn't at least according to the story. So, we are left with an admission of guilt with regard to this fictional character and knowledge of what would happen with special directives. There is at least one punishment for NOT killing everyone elsewhere in the bible - so the idea of annihilation is not unacceptable to God.
@6gunwalker Deuteronomy 7:20 Moreover the LORD thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and they that hide themselves, perish from before thee.
So, in addition to ordering the killings and at least knowing that rape and enslavement would take place and apparently had no issue with such atrocities. How is the directives not like the slaughter of the American Indians? Why couldn't peace be established? Murderous rages perhaps?
@MyContext God as depicted is a blood thirsty monster. Given the claim of all-knowing, it would have known what was necessary for things to be better. Apparently, given the story it didn't care... or it was just made up junk... I go with made up junk. However, if one wishes to claim it...then one must acknowledge the ugly that goes with such a claim - and there is lots of UGLY!
@MyContext blood thirsty monster?? God planned everything.. we are still on the 6th day of creation.. his work is still in working process... the 7th day will be after judgement day when everyone must give an account for themselves... youre assuming that God has done his work... lol this lifetime is a mock trial for the next.. lol this world is all trial and testing for the perfect everlasting world...
@MyContext lol again i ask and ask for you to provide me a verse where God actually makes admissions to israel to rape, murder etc.. and all i get is this.. if a General commands his army to engage the enemy.. but certain soldiers break war rules protocols and rape, murder innocent civilians.. who gets court marshalled??? lol please i urge you as you are a smart person.. extend thy breadth when reading the bible..
@MyContext also may i add you stated this.."given the admission of guilt in the book of JOB....LOL" dont say to me that you were not talking about Job when you clearly made a reference that admissions of guilt were made in the book of Job... whos making the guilty admissions????
@6gunwalker It is depicted that Satan believes Job believes due to having a good life. God claims that Job would still have faith if everything was taken away. So, God GIVES PERMISSION to Satan to do anything except kill Job. So, in the ugly little tail. Job's entire family is killed over nothing. So, in the little exchange one learns that God is responsible by having to give permission for things to happen. Sick little story... This is an admission of guilt.
Haha it was a hardcore video i liked it. Thought its wrong that atheist cant have morals , in the absence of an outside moral compass they will use their internal one if their not totally outward turned. Meaning all their actions are governd by the aproval of others. Their internal compass might even still being set straith by God. heck what do i know.

That was your only argument with me?
frankleeseaux 4 days ago
@frankleeseaux please point to me where in the bible God openly says go and rape, go and murder randomly... please show me sir! lol God in the old testament only says things like "ive handed your enemies into your hands" the rest of the decrees of the rules of warfare come from men.. lawmakers, moses.. as i said earlier Jesus did away with most of moses laws.. (which were stupid ones really) he fulfilled it.. ultimately the jews who thought this was blasphemy wanted to kill Jesus
6gunwalker 4 days ago
@6gunwalker First of all, I don't believe I ever suggested "random" anything, much less rape or murder. But, if you are prepared to have your faith tested to its limits then read the Bible from cover to cover and actually think about ever sentence. Or you can look up evil Bible on the internet. There they quote the Bible verse for verse and list the passages being quoted. Rape, murder, war, etc... It all in there.

Adults who, despite aging and schooling/experience, still believe the grand designer are thinking like children.
frankleeseaux 2 days ago
@frankleeseaux you have a valid point and it can be scientifically verified... but ive been down this path of cognitive reasoning of our human nature to worship.. however its overwhelmingly evident that this argument is only explaining THE HOW BUT NOT THE WHY. meaning half the answer.. we can scientifically verify the instinctive tendency to worship but we also have to explain why its natrual to us concluding what purpose is it that we all have this need to worship.
6gunwalker 2 days ago
@6gunwalker The why? That is a slippery slope my friend. But, since you've broached the subject, how about this? Perhaps the reason we are prone to worship is not because of the worship part. But, because of the pattern recognition part of the equation. Patten recognition is important to survival, as pointed out, and apparently agreed to before. Therefore, it is logical to suggest that the pattern recognition is the thing that causes us to make that leap of logic, and assume a deity.
frankleeseaux 2 days ago
@frankleeseaux im sorry friend but explaining the cognitive works of worship does not answer why its in us natrually in the first place... pattern recognition may be an argument for logic and reasoning developments but i dont think it answers the human natrual tendency to worship a higher authority..
6gunwalker 1 day ago
@6gunwalker
"explaining the cognitive works of worship does not answer why its in us natrually in the first place."
It's NOT in all of us. Who is this "us"? "i dont think it answers the human natrual tendency to worship a higher authority."
You STILL haven't proven that is a "human natrual tendency". Gonna do that?
FourDeuce01 1 day ago
@FourDeuce01 when i hear people say "look at the billions of humans on earth that WORSHIP a god, a deity, a higher power and then conclude there must be a God" i actually laugh... but in my observations as a christian theist i believe the passage in the bible "let us make man in our image, likeness." is a good starting point as humans are merely reflecting what God has harwired within us.. worship, moral compass, love, i never claimed i cud prove it nethier could you prove othrwise
6gunwalker 1 day ago
@6gunwalker It isn't in us naturally in the first place. I've already demonstrated that it is in us secondarily, at best, if at all. In other words, the presence of a tendency to believe in and or worship the supernatural/metaphysical is a direct result of, and effect of the causal agent within, the pattern seeking behavior. This fact, you acknowledged, so long as it supported your claim of "natural worship." When your misinterpretation was pointed out, you dismissed the notion.
frankleeseaux 1 day ago
@6gunwalker I am glad you were able to realize, and willing to admit that your argument does not serve as evidence, or proof of the existence of a GOD. Are you skeptical of the possible existence of those previously mentioned deities? Or, do you believe they were killed and replaced by the Christian GOD? Or, do you believe they were falsely worshiped, and the Greeks and Norse were finally convinced how mistaken they were when they met a few Christians?
frankleeseaux 2 days ago
@frankleeseaux it is not a valid logical argument to say most humans historically and currently believe in a diety or god therefore a God must exist.. however i feel that this pattern of human tendancies HIGHLIGHTS the natrual behavior hardwired within us to want to worship.. this can be a valid argument INDICTIVE TO AN EXISTENCE OF A GOD for why we behave in this manner.
6gunwalker 2 days ago
@6gunwalker You see here? In this, and previous instances, you are make the logical leap that it is the worship which is the natural tendency, rather than the pattern recognition which leads to the notion of worship.

@6gunwalker Please give sources. point to a scientific peer reviewed paper which discusses this.
Also, you have yet to answer my question... is it stupid, by your assessment, to be skeptical about any of those subjects?
frankleeseaux 2 days ago
@frankleeseaux sources for what?? and to answer your question.. no its not stupid to be skepitical about any of the subjects ive mention... in fact i encourage it.. at 17 i dismissed my catholic tradition as absurd( and i still do) concluding that i was agnostic.. years later i discovered i had far more reasons to belive that there is a God then reasons that there isnt.. i later concluded that having theagnostic view of "i dont know" was a cop out and that i needed to choose.
6gunwalker 2 days ago
@6gunwalker The sources in request are those which provide you with scientific reason to doubt evolution. Also, you have agreed that it is not stupid to doubt anything we have been discussing here. @frankleeseaux so if there were laws in the book of deuteronomy such as "anyone caught not observing the sabbath must be put to death" and Jesus comes along and heals the sick ON THE SABBATH which contradicts moses laws. he then tells the jewish teachers to use thier common sense and that God still works through the sabbath healing and helping people.. whats the point of observing the sabbath and being strict to it when someone is lying helpless in need of help? lol
6gunwalker 4 days ago
@6gunwalker It is shown, in the Bible, that Jesus did not break any commandments of Mosaic laws... ever. All done by wording of those laws, and specificity of action. And, Christ, on several instances, admonished that all people should observe the laws of Moses until the end of days, or until those laws have been fulfilled.

@frankleeseaux friend by your own admissions i can tell you have not read the bible..

MrAtheosRecords 6 days ago

"You believe there is no God". [End Quote]

@6gunwalker You need support for your claims, which you have none. Even worse it would seem that you are deliberately deceiving yourself. Why?

@MyContext pick which of the claims ive made i cannot back up.. and i will be more then happy to elaborate
6gunwalker 5 days ago
@6gunwalker You suggest that it is true without any apparent understanding of how the people came to the notions that they did given the time period and cultural context of their lives... You claims that the biblical presentation of a god was not responsible for the atrocities in the OT is NOT supported and I would dare say supportable - given the admission of guilt in the book of JOB....LOL
MyContext 5 days ago
@6gunwalker It actually doesn't have as much to do with God as it does with logic. I've read the bible, I know how God is portrayed and I know what I believed him to be. I just don't think he exists because evidence points in a different direction. Maybe I have a wrong perception of God in your opinion, but I still don't think he exists. I feel like you think it's because I don't want him to exist because of the way I think he is. That's not it, the existence of a God doesn't make sense to me.

MegaBlueZOMBIE 6 days ago
@MegaBlueZOMBIE a very simple and trivial myth that can easily be put to rest... give me the book that talks about the speggetti monster, witnessess, names of scholars who vouch for the authenticity of the speggetti monster... give me the nature and scientific arguments that points to the existence of the spegghetti monster... once you have done this then we can draw conclusions... ill be waiting
6gunwalker 6 days ago
@6gunwalker well you think someone invented everything correct? why the christian God, why not the spaghetti monster? why not allah? why not all the other bullshit Gods, and there is nobody who vouces for the authenticity of God..that doesn't make sense..he hasn't been proven to exist, and there is no evidence for him, just dunderheads like you desperately want to believe and are not intelligent enough t understand science so just parrot bullshit like "UHH THE EYE IT TO PERFECT DUR"
MegaBlueZOMBIE 6 days ago
@MegaBlueZOMBIE lol i thought so... you tried the old silly spaghetti monster or tooth fairy or santa claus argument whatever and when i asked for the witnesses, transcripts, scholarly works etc that asserts a spaghetti monster you couldnt even do that... please dont throw up silly examples that have no standing whatsoever.
6gunwalker 6 days ago
@6gunwalker Still reffering to my previous comment? No rebuttals to my previous one no? ,Questioning your faith now are we?
MegaBlueZOMBIE 6 days ago
@MegaBlueZOMBIE the only thing im questioning is where is the evidence, texts and witnesses that verify that a spaghetti monster exists?? lol im still waiting.. lol since you asked the question why not the spaghetti monster lol
6gunwalker 6 days ago
@6gunwalker so you are telling me, if there was a texts and witnesses saying they saw the flying spaghetti monster the flying spaghetti monster would exist. So bigfoot exists? because that had witnesses too you know.
MegaBlueZOMBIE 6 days ago
@MegaBlueZOMBIE no im telling you to provide texts, witnesses, scientific study, scholarly works etc on the spaghetti monster so we can assert whether this claim is true or false lol ... ill tell you why you wont be able to do that is because no one in thier right would claim such rubbish lol we can debunk the tooth fairy by putting a tooth under a pilliow and setting up cameras. we can debunk santa claus by looking for his residence in the south pole lol very trivial
6gunwalker 6 days ago
@6gunwalker there is no scientific study on the christian(or any god) that proves its existence, just because something is unknown to us now, doesn't mean you should jump to a God and even MORE foolish a specific God(like christian God), look how little we know 100 years ago, and just because something cannot be disproven doesn't prove it's existence, if I say i have an invisible unicorn you can't disprove it, that doesn't mean it exists.
MegaBlueZOMBIE 6 days ago
@MegaBlueZOMBIE lol i have far more reasons whether scientific or arguments that point to the extistence of a God then there are reasons for atheism ... far more... ill give you one example.. scientists working on the Human Genome project discovered genes in the DNA that arent found in any other animal on earth.. they named it "extraterrestrial genes" lol now tell me... if evolution claims that we are of the ape branch why isnt this gene found in apes?? lol
6gunwalker 6 days ago
@6gunwalker i can eliminate 1by1 or other so called religions and will leave jesus the centre point ,funny how you said 100 years ago we knew little.. when scientists then believed the universe was eternal therefore there was no need for a God creator.. that theory was debunked when thermodynamics shows us that the universe is expanding to the point that it will use up its energy and freeze eventually causing undoubtedly the end of the universe. if theres a end there was a beginning.
6gunwalker 6 days ago
@6gunwalker Jesus as presented was better than the OT, however, he is stained by it irredeemably. Religion does nothing for improvement of ANY sort. It improves ONLY when the people improve. If religion was a guiding light, it would be leading the charge to better as opposed to holding on to the abyss of ignorance.
MyContext 5 days ago
@6gunwalker we are more advanced than apes, so of course our genome would be improving, evolution is an observable FACT. How does that proof the existence of the christian God anyways? Why not Allah? Why not the other 100,000 Gods, how would that piece of misinterpreted(by you) "evidence" prove the fairy tales of the bible and that Jesus ressurected from the tombs and all that bullshit, it doesn't, but you want to believe it so you will, if you look for something, you will find it.
MegaBlueZOMBIE 6 days ago
@MegaBlueZOMBIE lol evolution teaches us that we sapiens are a product off the ape branch.. what DNA we have should absolutely be evident in the ape DNA.. however this new discovery of the "extrterrestrial gene" seperates us humans from the apes.. which points to us as a product of creation. lol its funny how now atheists are embracing the possibilty of aliens to bridge the gap lol and as i stated earlier pick any religion or gods and ill be happy to debunk them as false
6gunwalker 6 days ago
@6gunwalker and genomes dont mutate its a proven fact that they are traits lol so i dont know how you arrived at the conclusion that our genome is improving lmao islam is a spin off from the christian belief 600years after death. the quran texts are near perfect in the details of the storys which points to human tampering throughout the years. and allah as their depiction has many flaws.. conditional love, mohammed commands his warriors to kill infidels from the saudi peninsula
6gunwalker 6 days ago
@6gunwalker A fairy -tale is a fairy-tale there is no need to argue over which one is correct, since, they are ALL fairy-tales. I must thank you, since, I had considered that people were simply too indoctrinated to know better. However, given our interactions, I know you know better. So, the question is why lie and attempt to deceive others. What you do hope to gain in such deceit?
MyContext 5 days ago
@MyContext lol friend i knew my discussions of references to the biblical stories would be in vein as you dont actually belive in the foundation of the book lol i feel that you are on the bad end of the stick and that you've been had.... for an atheist to think "we are born to die and thats that" is just meaningless.. why? i dont get it? and yet this is the best explanation atheism offers?? why??
6gunwalker 5 days ago
@6gunwalker A fiction is no substitute for the truth. If there was a god as depicted in whatever "holy text" there would be collaborating evidence of SOME SORT given there isn't it is clear that it was made up. I wish your notions weren't dependent on the myths of the past. However, if you study what is known in anthropology is easily understood.
MyContext 5 days ago
@MyContext dont assume the bible to be a fiction.. PROVE IT.. lol i dont mean to sound abrupt but you talk like the bible HAS BEEN PROVEN TO BE ABSOLUTELY FICTATIOUS lol again you do what most atheists do and thats ASSUME THE BIBLE TO BE FICTION... lol please enlighten me with your anthropology..
6gunwalker 5 days ago
@6gunwalker You are right, it isn't totally false. It has pieces of history intermixed with the fiction such as the creation account, tower of babel, and the reserection to name a few. Is there any science that you actually know well enough to see the idiocy that is the bible? Since, the bible shows errors all over, unfortunately everything can be reasonable if one doesn't know any better.
MyContext 5 days ago
@MyContext then if that is your stance friend i invite you to pick any where in the bible that you feel science cant be applied... your move.

@troy2062 many species would have not needed to be in the ark to survive during the flood.. obviously fish species, we can account for crabs, amphibians the likes who did not need to be on the ark.. other species can be individually investigated and verified.. the flood ultimately killed off the dinosaurs whom were not on the ark.. where does it say the earth is motionless please provide the actual text..

No reasoning told you that, liar. If it did, you could show it. "according to your logic and reasoning the universe came from nothing,"
Wrong, liar. Since I never said that, you've just posted another stupid lie. Isn't lying wrong in your fairy tale?

MegaBlueZOMBIE 6 days ago
@MegaBlueZOMBIE another generic atheistic claim but i bet could never back up this claim with scriptrual evidence.. God in the O.T only says things says things like "i have handed your enemies into your hands" never i command you to rape, murder senselessly.. if i grew up in a muslim backround i would convert to the christian faith as islam is obviously stupid.. i can eliminate any religion as absurd.. just pick any and ill be happy to point out the absurdities
6gunwalker 5 days ago
@6gunwalker If you grew up in a muslim background you would not convert to Christianity, you would be a devout Muslim as you are a devout Christian now, your parents would have spoon fed you all the fairy tales except this time it would be about Allah and you would believe them just like the bible, you would be a totally differant person if raised in a muslim country. Yes God has told them to kill anyone who disagrees with him, he caused the flood, fucked up Jobe and whatnot.
MegaBlueZOMBIE 5 days ago
@MegaBlueZOMBIE i dismissed catholicism as absolutely rubbish by the age of 17.. i grew up in this enviroment... and decided then i was going to be agnostic and suspend any beliefs to "i dont know". i wouldve done the same if i was mormon, muslim, buddhist etc .. they are all white noise and pure naivity to me.... show me please in the bible where God actually says if you dont agree with me i will kill you.. and before the flood noah warned everyone and they LAUGHED.
6gunwalker 5 days ago
@MegaBlueZOMBIE furthermore the devil rendered the huge loss of Job as he told God that if you were to remove all the richies and wealth, family etc that a man has EVEN A BELIEVER LIKE JOB WOULD CURSE YOU.... but Job didnt do it... he never cursed God.... God quadrupled Jobs wealth as immense... please extend your breadth of knowledge when applying biblical texts
6gunwalker 5 days ago
@6gunwalker Wealth? After ALLOWING his entire family to be destroyed? /%@&%@!!!%!! WEALTH! You showing yourself to be quite AMORAL. The passage is a confession of evil. If god as depictef didn't allow whatever it wouldn't happen. The devil as depicted can't be held responsible for ANYTHING.
MyContext 5 days ago
@MyContext im sorry sir but you CLEARLY HAVE NOT READ JOB. lol in this book after everything was taken from Job and during his suffering JOB NEVER CURSES GOD... HE ONLY LAMENTS ABOUT HIS SITUATION AND SAYS " IT IS BETTER THAT I WAS NOT BORN"... lol the case of Job is a testamony that GOD does have confidence in us humans that we have FAITH IN HIM no matter what our dire situations maybe.. lol please dont pretend to have read this book as your admissions are incorrect
6gunwalker 5 days ago
@6gunwalker I said nothing about Job, I spoke of the ills and confession of responsibility which depicted of god. Which also shows god as depicted being guilty of directing rape, murder, and enslavement. This does include all the petty issues - lots of them. Given our discussion and your apparent state of denial, maybe a book called the EVIL GOD is in order.
MyContext 5 days ago
@MyContext thats why i asked you to show me where God actually says the words " i command you to rape, murder and enslave" God never says these things... he only tells the israelites that he has already handed thier enemies into thier hands.. (VICTORY).. before the battle has even started.. imagine a General being accused of rape, enslavement etc when all he commanded was that his army engage in warfare, the people who are guilty are the soldiers who did these things out of thier own
6gunwalker 4 days ago
@6gunwalker If God is claimed to be all-knowing, then it would only have needed to give directives to the contrary...right? Apparently, it didn't at least according to the story. So, we are left with an admission of guilt with regard to this fictional character and knowledge of what would happen with special directives. There is at least one punishment for NOT killing everyone elsewhere in the bible - so the idea of annihilation is not unacceptable to God.
MyContext 4 days ago
@MyContext lol sir seriously you need to stop making admissions that never happened concerning Job..
6gunwalker 4 days ago
@6gunwalker Deuteronomy 7:20 Moreover the LORD thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and they that hide themselves, perish from before thee.
So, in addition to ordering the killings and at least knowing that rape and enslavement would take place and apparently had no issue with such atrocities. How is the directives not like the slaughter of the American Indians? Why couldn't peace be established? Murderous rages perhaps?
MyContext 4 days ago
@MyContext God as depicted is a blood thirsty monster. Given the claim of all-knowing, it would have known what was necessary for things to be better. Apparently, given the story it didn't care... or it was just made up junk... I go with made up junk. However, if one wishes to claim it...then one must acknowledge the ugly that goes with such a claim - and there is lots of UGLY!
MyContext 4 days ago
@MyContext blood thirsty monster?? God planned everything.. we are still on the 6th day of creation.. his work is still in working process... the 7th day will be after judgement day when everyone must give an account for themselves... youre assuming that God has done his work... lol this lifetime is a mock trial for the next.. lol this world is all trial and testing for the perfect everlasting world...
6gunwalker 4 days ago
@MyContext lol again i ask and ask for you to provide me a verse where God actually makes admissions to israel to rape, murder etc.. and all i get is this.. if a General commands his army to engage the enemy.. but certain soldiers break war rules protocols and rape, murder innocent civilians.. who gets court marshalled??? lol please i urge you as you are a smart person.. extend thy breadth when reading the bible..
6gunwalker 4 days ago
@MyContext also may i add you stated this.."given the admission of guilt in the book of JOB....LOL" dont say to me that you were not talking about Job when you clearly made a reference that admissions of guilt were made in the book of Job... whos making the guilty admissions????
6gunwalker 4 days ago
@6gunwalker It is depicted that Satan believes Job believes due to having a good life. God claims that Job would still have faith if everything was taken away. So, God GIVES PERMISSION to Satan to do anything except kill Job. So, in the ugly little tail. Job's entire family is killed over nothing. So, in the little exchange one learns that God is responsible by having to give permission for things to happen. Sick little story... This is an admission of guilt.
