  • Please , what is this amazing sponge eraser, or weir paste ? does someone know where we could buy it ? thanks

  • I just wasted 2:30 of my life....

  • hey come and watch my drawing video it shows some

of my beginner drawings comment on them and thumbs them up if u like them

  • she is a teacher i guess!!

  • I use the head of my dick as an eraser. Works quite wel. Haw haw haw (Big LOL)

  • @theartofapple H "for hardness"

  • i hate drawing with hb :/

  • :)

  • do kneaded erasers last forever

  • @MarinaGoesRawrrx3r nice question but idk lol

  • i like h

  • is it advisable to use .3 than .5? w/c is better?

  • 2B pencils? I cannot sketch with anything softer than an H or I won't be able to erase anything ._.

  • where do you get the eraser

  • @TheBeybladebattles it's on every bookstores. it's called kneaded eraser.

  • It's funny because she's being serious.

  • A normal 2B is fine for a sketch. right?

  • @xTheBlackCatxd well you can use a 2b sure. for me i use an h or hb. but if you want a ful range of values in your drawing you should use most of the pencils you have all ranging from 4h to 4b. if you really want your picture to pop, then you can use like an ebony pencil which is a very smooth jet black pencil, and the black on the white paper will give you perfect contrast, and really make the picture stand out....any more questions jus ask

  • @xTheBlackCatxd start with the lightest pnecil you have then you use the darker ones

  • #LOL

  • you dont blend the pencil in with your fingers! i like the rubber thing i never knew about that so thanxs for that BUT YOU DONT BLEND WITH YOUR FINGERS

  • @XxCuteLivsxX what do you blend with?

  • most informative, thank you

  • quite helpful. I actually have seen these erasers used. I definitely am getting know the advantage of them now.

  • omg bullshit she sucks

  • meh, I think the only thing that really matters about choosing pencils or other drawing materials (besides personal preference) is whether or not its archival :P

  • Too bad you do not blend pencil with you fingers. You use a blending stump, if you use your fingers you will leave acids and oils from your hands on your artwork making it turn yellow faster with age. Blending with your fingers is a very bad habit to have when drawing on a professional or even an amateur level. Just thought that I would put my two cents in. lolz

  • uhhh i think she was just doing that as a EXAMPLE she probally knows thats not how u blend...

  • Love the kneaded eraser! I need to go buy myself one of those. They're pretty unique.

  • google dick blick for art supplies (not advertising, just informing)

  • dick blick

  • where could you buy the eraser, it's so awesome!!!

  • you can find those erasers - they are called "kneaded" erasers - at Michaels or any of the arts/crafts stores (ACMoore too)

The best brand name one is by "Design"

They are great tools, can use them to make highlights, to lift off areas that are too dark, and other things.

  • i luv the eraser!!!!

  • what about an ebony?

  • nice

    thx

  • My art teacher told me to just use #2, 'cause she does as well.

And the thing in the pencil that we refer to as "lead" is not really Pb lead.. it's graphite. Basic chemistry

  • hehe that came up in my last chemistry exam x)

  • and graphite is actually an allotrope of C carbon, just to add to that ;)

  • haha yes.

  • O.O if they used actual lead we'd be in some trouble ne?

  • They say you can use a #2 because its the same as an HB pencil. Which mine actualy says HB on it above #2 but my art teacher says not to use the eraser so i just take them off.

  • my pencil says black lead :|

  • @QueenStinger useless and well known information

  • just use a "magic rub" eraser

  • where canu get the Kneeded eraser u dont need those pencils u can use regular or mechanical i use both they work good i only use the graphite pencils sometimes because they dont have erasres which sucks and u rarely find kneeded erasers

  • lol wow are u serious i use #2 pencil all the time money waster

  • The yellow #2 is used primarily for writing, you can use for drawing but..It has as instructed a hard rubber eraser. When you try to erase the paper it actually tears into the paper to remove the lead.(no good when creating drawings) and it smears rubber peices when you wipe away with your hand, further smearing and damaging your work. Graphite pencils are drawing tools (no eraser) kneaded erasers are used along with drawing media(graphite+charcoal)for cleaner work.

  • i use a 0.7mm pencil(mechanical)

  • needed eraser lol they dont have it in the uk

  • e-bay luv

  • I acually perfer #2 pencils over the other fancy shmacy pencils i think they work fine but thats just my opion

  • wher do you buy them

  • i only draw manga...and with my lucky led pencil.

  • a #2 pencil works PERFECTLY fine..heh.

there is no need for 'em fancy pencils..'N the kneaded eraser ain't all that great.

  • But #2 pencils are good =[...

  • i no i use them to draw all the time.

    shes just a hater =/

  • There are better pencils out there.

  • lmfaoroflomgbbqsauce ive been using a no.2 pencil this whole time im sucha nub =]

  • THANKS A LOT, i do a lot of drawing in my spare time time and i'm getting pretty good but i've noticed that some of my construction lines or just line that i've anbandon are hard to get rid of it i can.

  • "expert",

Contours are the least important feature. Therefore, dear "expert", do not define your figures with a line.

    Love,

    Dr.Art

  • i'm a manga artist and i use hard leads because i ink everyting and hard leads don't smear all over the place

  • ohhh now i geet it thnks :)

  • Yeahhhhhhhhh.... Actually contrary to your belief there are alot of people out there that don't know. For example beginners or people who want to start to draw. If you're such a great artist and you know everything, MAYBe just maybe you shouldent watch videos named BASIC artistic drawing techniques.

  • pencils taste good

  • that was great:)

  • Thanks for the information. I've recently become interested in sketching and I think this video will help a lot.

  • cool!
