  • Paul is truly an inspired musician. Plays from the heart.

  • Just imagine if Haydn had, had an Electric guitar.

  • there should be a law to force all people to listen to this guy

  • wow that is amazing dynamic control O_O

  • @Lavalole funny you should say that that's actually the last thing paul wants

but yeah you do have a point.

  • @Guitarrosaurusrex go away leave the true fans of this man to bask in his glory

  • is he palm muting?

  • @98765421tj Yes, some of the time he is to get the muted staccato notes.

  • @samhuinn1991 this one is made of cherry

  • @skwisgaarandtoki69 so that's why it looks so tasty...

  • Does anybody know which type of wood this Fireman is made off?

    Gorgeous!

  • @samhuinn1991 i think he said it was made out of wood that was poison lol. which is interesting

  • @samhuinn1991 its made of korina wood

  • in the dvd does he explain this?

  • @deceased94 Yes.

  • My guess is that he learned this in a few minutes and felt like playing it for us lol. I love Paul.

  • reminds me of Salieri's Marchm from the movie Amadeus

  • tis that be iceman?

  • need moar cornbread

  • I hope he makes another album soon and it has another classical piece like this or Eudaimonia Overture... Sooo good

  • paul always makes it look so easy..

  • Lol very true. I envy Paul.

  • tabs pls!

  • doesn't sound as good palm muted for that long imo

  • You can see where he got a lot of inspiration for the ending run on "Eudaimonia Overture"!

    Flawless every time!

  • the ending of Eudamonia overture is a Bach piece

  • yeah piano concherto 15

  • wowha paul gilbert is the best

  • perfect

  • he muted the first two strings?? its not easy....

  • .....its Haydn Symphony No. 88

  • he is so fast!

  • thats what she said

  • well original 88 symphony is ussually even faster

  • Classical really transfers over to metal pretty well.

  • Paul Gilbert: making people hang up their Guitars for good since 1966...

  • lol.

  • ZING!

  • @Lavalole he will never make me hang up my guitar!

i'll practice for the rest of my life to beat him and one day stand at his grave and say.

you ruined my life.... but fuck this shit, now i'm way better than you!

  • @Lavalole no he makes me pick my guitar up and inspires me to practice more and more every day.

  • it´s so funny when he pulls that one off xDD

have to smile when i hear his little muted sound...

    then explodes @ 0:45

  • its now called the fireman

  • I think it's the early version of rev iceman, notice pick ups not angled, darker body finishing, & no scratch pad..

  • no they were both made the same time. paul uses em both on silence follow by a deafening roar

  • i think ur talking about the other fireman, this is with the cherry wood and dimarzio humbuckers, the other is with the korina wood and angled pickups like jimi hendrix

  • I want that Reverse Iceman.

  • Comment removed

  • Needs moar f holes.

  • haa nicee

  • nice lesson :>

  • never seen him use the reverse iceman before the new CD. Wow

  • I could be wrong, but I don't think he used it on the album. I think Ibanez sent that out to him in between the album and the instructional. Forgive me if I'm wrong, though, as this is only my speculation.

  • i think that's correct, because as far as i know, on the album, haydn symphony no 88 was recorded using the single coil on his pgm301 with the volume rolled down

  • yup both correct

all i know is that thats a fuckin sweet guitar!!!

i think i prefere this reverse iceman over his korina reverse iceman
