I could be wrong, but I don't think he used it on the album. I think Ibanez sent that out to him in between the album and the instructional. Forgive me if I'm wrong, though, as this is only my speculation.

i think that's correct, because as far as i know, on the album, haydn symphony no 88 was recorded using the single coil on his pgm301 with the volume rolled down
