I set the visual settings to best perfomance, with the ugly look. Then when i tried to get it back, it didn't chance the visuals at all. everything else it did chance, but not the visuals.

using hard drive as virtual memory, theoretically doesn't help to increase speed.

Hard drive speed is much much slower than the RAM. so using hard drive as virtual memory will not make your pc faster, it may make it even slower..

Best thing is to increase RAM.

otherwise switching off the virtual memory will do better job.. :)

Dude u forgot to click set then ok but let me tell u this 1gb = 1024 MB take that number 1024 x 1.5 = 1536 MB so put that number in there on top 1536 and bottom is 1536 then click set then click ok and then restart your computer now ur computer would run fast =D ok so one more time 1gb = 1024mb so if u have 2gb just take the number of 1024 multiply by 2 or if u have 3 gb or 4 gb just take that number multiply by 1024 yea pretty much that's all xD

it has to do with your ram you should do twice the amount of page file as the amount of ram you have your hard drive size dosent matter and i think it might be 2.5 times your amount of ram idk i have 2.5gigs and win 7 auto gives me 5gigs of page file the only hard drive restriction is how big the drive is if you have a tiny drive less might be better just for your own sake :P
