RIP Larry Munson. I never attended UGA but I lived in Atlanta during some of your last years calling the Dawgs, and also a Braves game when the gang went to see Don Sutton go into Cooperstown.

You are a legend and shall be missed nationwide.

The state of Georgia has been blessed with a bevy of great announcers. Munson and his work with the Falcons and UGA and Wes Durham with his work with Tech and the Falcons. It's only right, the state with the best football talent should have the best calling the games. Not a UGA fan, but Munson made listening to games an experience.

The end of an era. I remember listening to Munson with my Dad my whole life. Back when the Bulldogs would only be on TV once or twice per season; we looked forward to listening to Munson every weekend. We listened to him while fishing or on a dove field, while traveling or just at home. Even when the game was televised we would turn down the TV and turn up Munson. I was really sad when I read the news last night. He will NEVER be replaced.
