It's the little details that really make this show special. Like how in the background there are sisters of the light just walking around, even though they are not really part of the show. Or how there are candles in miscellaneous places. These little things just make the show spectacular.

If they were to follow the books entirely, it would be an entire series of Richard sitting in a forest, killing those invisible creatures, and everyone else doing stuff that didn't really affect the story line. Also, they can't get everyone in the series to look exactly as Terry Goodkind imagined them. If Verna is not beautiful enough or if Nicci isn't blonde, it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. It is still the same premise of the books, without all of the tiny little details.

this is horrible, I loved the stone of tears...first off, Richard was pissed to go to the palace of prophets, he thought Kalahn betrayed him, he was a Rada han around his neck, verna was prettier, and nicci had really cool eyes. Cara wasn't even introduced yet!!!!
