I like this version of Mayfield better then the album version. I hate how major labels make their artists beef everything up to be radio ready.

I have to agree. Not only labels but the artists themselve put too much backing in the recording. I like most tunes better when they play acoustic solo

David left to go back to school. and JV isnt that bad. I admit david was better, but then again Josiah was better then chris but noone seems to remember him even existing

i dont know about that, the only thing josiah put forth that i thought was impressive was his solo in bullets and sunday best on mandolin. chris' acoustic stuff with dan are better then josiah's. Josiah couldnt even put anything to Dan's new stuff when I saw them live. The next time I saw Dan with Chris he already had a sweet riff that fit the song.
