  • Steam cleaning does not put down toxic and all of the chemical s that Sears carpet cleaning uses are pets and child friendly. I cant even count how many times a month I have to clean a customers house because they used Chemdry. Steam cleaning rocks.dont listen to this salesperson. And it only takes 18 to 24 hours and out doesn't soak your padding .

  • not bad let that sit there a year like your customer would then clean it

  • not bad let that sit there a year like your customer would then clean it

  • I would have to say...from being in the business for over 15 years....that the Chem-Dry system is good....but so is steam cleaning...and host dry cleaning....what is bad are the techs that are payed on commission...and that are un-educated when cleaning carpet...even with a truck mount and a wand, I can get the carpets to dry in a hour or 2....but with the RX-20 at my finger tips....I can eliminate the competition....I feel a lot of the cleaning capabilities are the tools used. And knowledge.

  • chem-dry damages the fibers... so don't call them. mmmmmmmmmmm....

  • If steam cleaning is so bad, why do all Chem Dry franchises use it as a back-up or a separate option?

  • I have installed designer floor covering for over 22 years, CHEM DRY IS A JOKE, you should try this video on an absorbant nylon. This is one of the most unprofessional and misleading videos I have ever seen. It's just sad, that this video was EVER made. When u want carpet cleaned RIGHT, STEAM CLEAN IT, if it's bad, clean from top and back and have an INSTALLER relay it, not some hack floor " LAYER ", yes, there huge difference. any company that only warrenties labor for a year IS A JOKE.

  • its true i own my own business and have been called by realtors and property management because the cleaning just simply isnt good enough, the fast dry time doesnt make up for the poor cleaning job, especially when my company does better cleaning job with same-faster dry times due to my air movers

  • I am disappointed with what a competitor would say on here. Unfortunate and not professional. The true difference between Chem-Dry and steam cleaners is the amount of water. Chem-Dry uses 1/5 the water - for a deep down clean that dries in only 1-2 hours.

Chem-Dry's customers satisfaction score is a 9.3/10 - customers love the process, the clean carpets and the quick dry times. And, only Chem-Dry uses The Natural carbonating cleaning solution - for a deep clean that's also green.

  • Chem-Dry would have to be the worst method of cleaning I have come across, I have a good video on a Chem-Dry Re Clean. How Can you clean a Carpet when all your doing is Driving the Dirt further into the pile?? No Hot water and No Suction = Dirty Carpets!

  • ChemDry applies their patented cleaning solution at over 200 degrees before being extracted with a very powerful vacuum. This is why the process is known as Hot Chemical Extraction or HCE.

  • As a Chem-Dry customer now for 10 years, I will put my cleaning technician up against the "best" in the "soak and suck" category in the industry. Thank God for Chem-Dry. All you steamers can suck it.

  • porterev--- as a former chem- dry technician i can say that you have no clue as to what you are talking about - i now use a truck mount steam clean system and i am getting better results thatn ever before I would never do another chem- dry job as long as i live - you hv no idea what your talking about!!!!

  • metra0808 well you smell like monekey sht

  • Try washing your clothes with JUST A LITTLE BIT OF WATER AND MAGIC CHEMICALS, and see what happens. Steam cleaning is WAY better. Doesn't chemdry offer the full steam cleaning (hot water extraction) now, because that's what most people prefer.

  • Stanley Steemer can do that too.

  • Stanley Steemer was unprofessional, changed their quoted price on us AFTER cleaning the carpeting, and stretched out our carpeting more than once, causing us to pay an installer to re-stretch it. I think we'll try Chem Dry this time!

    Just sayin'.

  • The carpet cleaning industry already has enough negative publicity and would be better served by informing consumers as to why they should have the cleaning performed

    by a competent professional.

Thank you Chem-Dry for adding another negative thought about the carpet cleaning profession, in the consumers head.

And why is it called chem-dry when it has always used carbonated water, 1% ammonia, triclosan, and sodium?

  • This guy doesn't know the difference between steam cleaning and hot water extraction, sad.

  • cum stains! help!

  • when the guy was raking it, he was leaving streaks of dirt. good job lol

  • fuck chem dry huhuhuhuhhahaha

  • do these people think where retarded. this carpet has had a load of stain guard on it.

you could remove that with hot water and a cloth.

  • But I don't want EVERYDAY dirt! Put some Copier Toner, bulk inkjet dye and some axle grease on that puppy!

  • hahahaha! What a joke! I love how "dry" cleaning companies have to "sell" you on their process. Us steam cleaners just say "ma'am, why would be spend $30,000 on a truck mounted carpet cleaner if we could get better results with an $800 'rotary machine'?"

    Hahaha. What a joke!

PS. A good steam cleaner uses a pure protein enzyme and a neutral 7 RINSE!

  • there is no different between carbonated extraction and steam cleaning since it is the same process-chemicals used does not represent the cleaning process. By the way mold can not survive in carpet unless it has a food source and extreme humid conditions in order for mold to develop.

  • Williams Carpet Cleaning is the only way to go with a Drimaster and a Hydromaster 427 HWE Machine we can get the carpets dry faster than any other method. I have 25 years experience and have tried all other methods over the years and I love the new drimaster process. Hot Water Extraction with proper chemical use is the key and is reccomended by most carpet manufactures.

  • so you changed your method to one that alot of carpet cleaners been using foe years(low water pressure with a rotary jet extractor) just threw in the carbonated cleaner and act like you invented the method..rip off!!

  • wow rub the dirt in the cooking oil still in the carpet,by the way if slow it down real fast you will see stanley steemer come in and clean the carpet

  • haha
