a dolphin surfed right in the wave in front of me in Banderas Bay Puerto Vallarta! it was so amazing, then it jumped right out of the water when I was deeper, so cool :)
Dolphins are great, but one played a prank on me several years ago. I was riding my bike on a sidewalk by a seawall of a bay near my house early in the morning when it was very quiet. Then a dolphin leaps out of the water right next to me and splashes back down! Scared the piss out of me! I'm sure he/she did it on purpose. Hope he got a good laugh out of it, because I almost crashed my bike. But I still love them... ;-)
@SirReptitious They pranked me out once at Wildwood NJ. I was in the water chest high and these big dark shapes came right at me full speed. I almost had a heart attack thinking shark and froze up. Then 3 of them stopped and popped up like 10 feet way as if to say, "PWNED!" I still ran out of the water. Theyre cute and all but theyre still predators with jaws full of razor sharp teeth lol.
