That Zakaria guy looks more like a full contact karate styled guy to me. Maybe another video where the uploader doesn't realise that you have muai thai, kickboxing and full contact karate, and that they have very different styles?

Most muai thai vs san shou matches are bloody boring because the mt guy clinches all the time. They got kickboxing mastermind Andy Souwer to fight a Chinese San Shou guy once though, now that was a match to see.

There's no muay thai in sanda. Stop thinking muay thai has created elbows. Elbows existed much before MT was created.

Sanda is a mix of many different kung fu styles.

Sanshou/ sanda is much older than muay thai. Ok people in west are more familiar with muay thai because they have been in thailand many many times. Sanda is the ART OF KICKING PUNCHING THROWING AND GRAPPLING.

@LeVraiJerry If Sanda is a mix of many styles, then Muay Thai mix with Wrestling and BJJ is better than Sanda. Like I've said many times before, different styles of kung fu my ass. I see no kung fu strikes in there. It's adding throws to boxing and MT kicks for Sanda. A more complete system is to mix Muay Thai with wrestling and BJJ like in MMA. Sanda can't strike like MT and Wrestling is king of takedowns and takedown defense. BJJ is if you get on your back against a better wrestler.
