rhythmantic,Very great song.Man i have seen your vídeos since 2010.I want to congratulations to you,I am from Brazil and I like your videos soo much! Thanks Dave :)
Ah Yeah! -- The syncopation of the percussion line and that chromatic lead riff click perfectly together. It all somehow adds up to the poignant kick of this song. Love that top hat. I'm thankful for you being here on youtube!
@James133335 Thanks for that educated comment and from such a fine guitar player like yourself. I dig your playing and subbed to your channel. Thanks for stopping by and checking this out..
Hey I had a question. Im about to upgrade to a roland hd1 and from what i know it has a midi outout and a regular 1/4(big) output for amps and such, I wanna record with audacity, should i get a midi to usb adaptor or a 1/4(big) to usb adapter(and yes make those), if im using audacity which would be better? my usb mic works with audacity so i figure one of those might work,
@therailwizard1994 Though I've used Audacity I don't use it for my covers. I can only recommend what I use: an M-Audio MIDIsport interface, MIDI out from VDrums to USB port on the computer recording into a DAW. I'm also using an Apogee Ensemble firewire audio interface.
Ah yet another reason why I site John Lennon as my "Fav" vocalist of all time behind Elvis Presley & Little Richard.I love this song! Great job Sal. Originally written and recorded by blues great Arthur Alexander. A Lot of the British Invasion bands did his songs like "You Better Move On" by "Keith & the lads". Who waz their singer again? Mick...something??? Now, I'm JUST KIDDING K?
@dcrimmen Thanks Dave and as always, thanks for the background info, as Johnny Carson used to put it: "I did not know that!". Yea, John is my all time fav rock/pop vocalist and he didn't like his voice.
Love, love, love!! This is my Mum's favourite Beatles song! I was playing your video last night and she came in and actually watched..she was even dancing a little lol!!
Good old Anna beat , Peace

Very good. By the way Arthur Alexander did the original version. It was a R&B hit in the mid-sixties.

John's voice sounds so congested here, he almost sounds like George. But obviously it isn't. This VJ record has all their '63 stuff, and I had it.
powergirl901 1 month ago
@powergirl901 You're right about that, because he did this famous session with a cold, and yea, I thought the vocal sounded like George too.
