Power has been my favourite album since I was 4. I haven't heard any other album with so many great songs on it as this one! There's just no topping it for me
Funny that I ran into this! I am doing a by request thing for my facebook friends back home in new york, and one of my friends said that i used to sing it, so i did a little except from memory.
it is unlisted because it was only for one friend in particular.
Hey Rune, thanks for sending this to me. It's excellent. It's also the first Kansas post that I've ever seen that they put the ads on! I wonder if they did this back then when you posted it and have since changed there policy on this band or are they doing this only on the Power album?....Rick
Power is an very underrated album by Kansas. My favorite songs from the album are this one, Musicatto and the title track. The other 7 songs are also quite good. Thanks for posting this one!
I hadn't heard this in so long; being both a huge Dregs and Kansas fan, I bought this one when it came out, but now I have no 33 1/3 RPM vinyl LP player. This is superb. Morse's playing is beautiful, as is Walsh's singing and keyboard part. It has brought tears to my eyes..."to the boundaries of imagination, back to yesterday.."
This song was better than the commercial hits they tried for. I didn't care too much for "All I Wanted," which didn't do much.
From the Morse era, I thought "Bells of Saint James" was their best tune: It contained good music, good potential commercial elements, and good instrumental passages. It could have been their "Carry On" from that era.
@yes90125 yes, and Dust In The Wind is probably one of their most pointless ones :) (provided you know about their others, needless to say many do not)
chords, tabs? Please!
