Putting a dvd in a nintendo is wrong but putting a nintendo in a toaster isnt? people are crazy. I think this is pretty awesome, just a shame the display is on the side, but i suppose that isn't a huge deal depending on how you position it, plus it would have ruined the whole effect of looking like a regular nes from the front :P

dudes, chill out. i grew up in the 80s/90s. i love NES. but they ARENT fucking rare! if this was some ultra obscure system, i could see getting butthurt. but they sold millions of these things. theyre insanely common. at one point i had 12 NES's at my house, none of which i'd paid over $10 for. theyre pretty disposable. a great system, i fucking love NES, but theyre not uncommon enough to get bummed about when somebody mods one. get over it dudes.

But current-gen consoles don't "fail". Just because you don't like them, it doesn't mean they fail. I played literally more than three thousand hours of Street Fighter 4 on PS3/XBOX360 and still play it a lot. I think that pretty much means the consoles are successful.

you have inspired me to make something like this but with a wii inside ,a wii with a sudriver mod chip and a 1tb drive,and a softmod too,and a dvd drive,like a pc 1 connected to the wii's usb inside,so that i can still have that awesome dvd drawer where it opens and closes the nes lid when the drawer goes in and out,not sure if a softmod wii can play dvds from a dvd drive connected via usb or not,the sundriver replaces the wiis dvd with a 2,5hdd,

although i guess you could soft mod a wii,then remove the wii dvd drive altogether,get a wii with a broken dvd drive ,then connect a dvd drive via the usb and use usb loader gx or something to load the games fom the usb dvd drive,it would be slower though and i dont think you could get it to play dvd movies
