@Nogorn you cant choose where you go, but distance in the nether is farther in the real world.

@Nogorn if you divide the X and Z coördinates of a netherportal in the overworld by 8, and place a netherportal on those coörds in the nether, they will connect to each other.

@baconstar237 make sure you're no too close to the spawning area - they wont spawn within 24 blocks of you. also, pigmen take time because they're able to spawn everywhere in the nether

@Latios9000 In imaginary land? I don't know :) But in the game, hostile mobs (creepers, zombies, skeletons...) spawn in any dark area. in the nether it doesnt have to be as dark.

@Latios9000 No, there arent spawners up there.. just large dark rooms. It's just like how mobs spawn in dark caves, but they're trapped.

Hello monkeyfarm, I really, really hope you read this and give me a comment back or send me a message. I made a Mob farm really similar to yours with the opening part to hit the mobs but now it seems in the new update you can't hit them anymore. Is is because I am on a server(My own w/out people on it) and you are on single player?

@RonaProductions mob hitboxes are chest and above on servers. hopefully they'll change that.

@JordynX096 I havent tested the pigmen, Something like 20 blocks to leave a 1 hit kill, but I think mob damage can differ depending on the situation.

@DJTmaq Each time you craft a tool or armor, you can get 'special powers' by enchanting them. Good enchantments are close to 50 XP each, so you need a lot of XP to get the good stuff. :)

I love the work you are doing on your complex. I also like the fact that you balance minecraft science with a little bit of world tour thrown in to keep things interesting. Are you eventually going to have a dome over your excavation or maybe maintain the circular perimiter but build levels up then cover the top?
