You know, the same thing happens in Golden Sun if you used cheats to beat Saturos and Menardi during the storm in Vale.
I beat their asses, yet Isaac and Garet were the ones laid out on the ground as they got away... I was half expecting a return to the title screen like when you win the opening battle of Final Fantasy II.
@locke103 I actually tried it with the GBA version, and winning kicked me back to the title screen. I assume that's what you mean by what happens in the NES version.
@trelior the NES version will progress as normal. i'm unsure about the PS1 version, i would just as assume you get the ol' title screen to the head routine.

Video uploader here. You're correct, both "forms" of Barubary have the same HP. I also forgot to mention that by killing him here, his HP bar becomes visible when you fight him again at the end of the game. It's pretty neat.

At least for some Game Genie codes, it causes you to get some "pirating is wrong" screen and then it wipes all your saved games, and as we all know, wiping all your hard-earned saves is worse than being called a "bitch faggot homosexual bitchtard" to a gamer...
Nice, his battle script is set to only attack and counterattack (sometimes), and he doesn't seem to have the ability of increasing his attack power as the fight goes on.
I was always curious about that.
And that's 6 minutes of my life I won't get back, heheh.
