The movie is well made but i like the book better, at this point in the book, u really really felt like how terrible Betty's life was, here its just sorta like u feel, its ok she could handle it.

@snizzlefrazzy Either the movie maker knew that what a wrong affection this will have on the mind of so many people, then they did a wrong thing by purpose, Or they didn't know what would be the affection, which in that way what a movie maker who was not aware of what he was doing! Unfortunately there are many narrow-minded people who think badly about Iran, mostly reffering this movie. you need to do YOUR reseach.I have lived in India before and my husband in muslim ok.Every muslin is different,same with christians.You will find extremism in all religions,period.You will see loose christians that go to church on Sunday's and party it up on the weekends,then you have christians that are very strict not even eating pork.It is not due to the religion,it is due to the geographical location and society they are raised in.Also,being educated has a lot to do with as well.

@Gul7577 The verses that tell Muslims to cut off peoples fingertips and to fight against people until they accept Allah and Muhammad as the final authority. These teachings are found throughout the Quran and Hadith. If you think that these teachings are not evil then please explain why.

@SoldierOfChrist110 - Thats where your wrong. I just had a read of the surah and ayat and it does not tell MUSLIMS to do any of that. This is what it really says : Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them." When did "I" become "YOU" From what I understand "YOU" would mean the muslims, and it clearly does not.

All verses in the quran are the saying of Allah and not Prophet Mohammad (saw). Also there are many wrong interpretations on the net. I suggest you pick up the quran in english to understand it correctly.

The wife & daughter thought it was going to be a simple family visit for a few days & then it all changed when her so-called husband "Moody" is such a lying asshole.

Not all middle eastern people are bad,but there are a lot of people who do and have done terrible things and unfortunately those stories make it out to the public more than the good news.
