what i hate about this is you go and look on youtube for more stories about our soldiers in Iraq and you get videos of them killing dogs, running over cars. its really sad.
I read kidnappings are for ransom are common in Iraq, but is kidnapping for money, terrorism? Those people are poor, this happens in other places in the world too
It's so hard to be a loyal Iraqi soldier now. He never knows who's out to kill him, within his own tribe! Our American forces are extremely brave, always in my prayers. This is the worst kind of fighting. And the Iraqis are being called upon to be braver, still, the true patriots of their own land. They too, are in my prayers!
good job and respect to the units who rescued the child but...the cameraman should calm down with his camera and the flash on it...honestly,respect the privacy will ya? and have half a brain you wont go around blindin hostages like that

Regaurdless of what you think, you have to realize that "these guys" have asked the US to stay. The American soldiers say that the IP and ISF still need help, and the IP and ISF agree. In light of that, your opinion is next to worthless.
It's deffinitely good to see videos like this though. Not only will it help improve the security of Iraqi citizens, but the faster they become capable of carrying out these ops on a regular basis, the sooner the US can pull out.
People here in the United States doubted the ISF, but they are really coming along as a professional military! I mean they really came out of nowhere, but the US still cant pull out now.

I was in Iraq in OIF 4 an The ISF was not the best then but they are getting better every day. They are turning out to be an Army now!
