My grandmother had cancer in the late 60's so sever that they sent her home to die within a couple months. Her and the rest of the family just trusted in God, she lived 45 more years. It's truly amazing that God would tolerate you. Do you know that that's called and why it's so amazing? It's called free will. There is no way for either of us to absolutely prove our claims, hence the term "agnostic" is more correct. However, I'm not bored, but I respect your choice to submit to a higher being. Living freely without religion or god is my avenue to looking at everything openly, as a scientist should.

You've no proof that Jesus was the Christ. Some say he is, some say he isn't. You've no proof that God exists. Some say he does, some say he doesn't. Does God exist and is Elvis really dead.

Even science can't be proven using the scientific method. Proof/evidence is not the end-all factor.

@11111011 If you can accept that Elvis' recordings (audio/film) as well as his pictures to be proof that he existed then why do you argue that the world around you cannot be the evidence of God?

I've literally stood on top of Elvis' grave but I have no clue he is in there. I believe he is, but I have no evidence besides some stories I've heard, a doctored death picture I saw on the front of a National Inquirer when I was 7 and his gravestone. Not concrete evidence but I believe and so do you.

It cannot prove the death of Elvis, it cannot prove the existence of Elvis, and it cannot prove that there is or is not a God. Science is extremely limited and a baseless thing to use to prove any truth.

That's not true. There have been atheist that have been responsible for countless murders. Just look at Communism. By the way, your line of 'takes an interest in me, approves of me, etc' is not what God is about, the Holy Bible at all. There are none righteous, we all fall short of God's glory. It is by grace through faith we're saved, not of works so none can boast. It is not God's will that any perish, but that all come to repentance. You study it, look into it for yourself.
