  • Very nice. How old are you guys though?

  • @splotchyitachi 18, 18, 22

  • That tapping looks much more difficult as opposed to doing it on a 5-string. Props to you bassist.

  • @BassMonkeyRush Thank You :-)

  • You were all amazing! Especially the guitarist on the left :) it would have helped if the background track was a little quieter though

  • @glint20 Thanks dude :-) You can see us playing it live in the other video that I have posted!

  • excellent cover.. congratulations

  • @d4rkg Thank you very much :-)

  • great tone and playing! i really enjoyed it.

but it could maybe have been more exotic if you stood up :D

  • @Zoop101 thanks dude. We have a live version on my Page! Check it out if you'd like!

  • THIS IS AWESOME

  • @Rebound443 Thanks!

  • I just realized all you guys had LTD's lmao, sick cover btw. It was one of our band's first covers :]

  • @8JobForAMexican8 Nice dude :-) Thanks by the way

  • :O where do you live?

    Need a drummer?!?! :DDD

  • You guys are great! Haha the smiles during the hardcore parts are awesome too!

  • Gotta have fun :-)

  • ya man i have that maiden poster

  • \m/

  • Great! CHECK MY COVER! ^^

  • wow murdered it lol. nice job

  • @exsymphony Thank You!

  • holy shit =)

  • @sup3a Haha. Thanks? :-)

  • Hey what tabs are you using for bass? Because I have found two different ones where the lowest note played on the E string is a Bb (an open E with the weird tuning that bloodmeat has) and there are quite a few Db and D notes too, all of which are lower than Eb. So I'm a little confused. I use a 4 string too and I want to learn this song. Are you transposing the E string's notes onto the A, the A's onto the D, etc.? Or are you transposing the b string's notes onto the D string? Thanks!

  • Hey Dude. We're using the official tabs that guitar world had transcribed in on of their issues. I talked to Mike the other day and he says that he just follows the guitar parts wherever Arif uses his low B string, that's all :-)

  • bassist is using an ibanez , right? i have the same one but im just beginning it. great cover guys. keep up the great work

  • Actually it's an LTD!

  • Hey guys, that was really amazing :) im learning this song, and im have it well down, but the part with the sweeps is giving me trouble. i can play it, but i just cant make it sound clean. or fast for that matter. so i cant keep up with the music and when i do it sounds terrible. any suggestions?

  • Absolutely! It's one of the hardest parts of the song if your just learning how to sweep. In fact, this song got us both into sweeping :-) One thing that really helps is to play the part half as fast. Slow it WAAAAAY down and really concentrate on playing each and every note as cleanly as possible. If you have a metronome, set the beat in 4 and just keep playing one sweep pattern over and over and over. Then speed the metronome click up by 10 bpm after a few mins. Then move to the next pattern.

  • Only move on to the next pattern after you have completely mastered the previous one. If you keep doing this everyday and discipline yourself, you'll have it! Just keep practicing :-)

  • Awesome job guys. Can't say i heard any obvious mistakes.

  • Thank you!

  • i'd love to have an epic string jam like that...

  • really well done

  • Thanks :-)

  • most have taken a while to get that crap right...i have a hard time doing it right all the time....usually takes me a few tries to really nail the leads and get my finger speed......

  • Practice makes perfect! Even after playing it hundreds of times we still mess up sometimes. Heck, even PTH messes it up sometimes!

  • very homoerotic look at 0:55 , good cover btw

  • cover some Between The Buried and Me please guys :D

  • Sometimes bass is SICKER Than guitar

    I dont know this song

    But its amazing

    Congratulations

  • Thanks alot dude! And you're absolutely right about bass!

  • The bass on this song is truly sicker than guitar.

I'm a bass player myself, and I have to watch the guitars here. You're not having any fun with this song. It's horrible watch. Good cover though!

  • If you find it horrible to watch, then don't watch. Thanks for the compliment, but it's hard to "have fun" when the entire band isn't present. The song is fun to play of course, but i think in this instance, being accurate was more important than "moving around." We want to play the song right and 100%, not full of errors like the other covers of this song on YouTube.

  • the ltd brothers ha

  • One of the bests!

  • god damn, can i be your drummer?

  • Haha. We're covered in that area but thanks for the compliment my man. Nice Stuff :-)

  • really sick guys

  • Thanks!

  • whenever i watch this video the guyon the left just blows my mind... soooo flawless

  • sickkkkk cover guys, you all ripped it

  • That was genius...

    You guys got a band?

  • Yeah dude. We just got started. It's called Gunishment! and we're writing some tunes as we speak. Hopefully we'll have some music up soon :-) Thanks for the comment too!

  • Good.

Cause you can't let shit like that go to waste. haha

  • Haha. Thank you :-)

  • awesome.

  • love it at 0:56 when the guy on the left and the bassist look at eachother. after the bassist nails that part they're like, "sweet man" XD

  • great cover!!! \m/

  • nice cover guys :)

  • Thank You sir :-)

  • sick job guys probably the best i have seen two guitars and a bass play together and right since the actual band
