  • Big help yesterday for chane battery!!! Thank you so much!!!

  • Just bought a 2004 r1150r and bada bing, need a battery. Found your masterpiece and bada bing ...done! Many thanks .

    Alwaysriding

  • Thank you for providing a lot of insight on this job. It allowed me to decide to let the shop do this job instead of me ending up with a dangling gas tank!

Your editing and comments were good; the video would have been improved with additional lighting, as it is pretty dark in those areas of under the tank.

Seems like BMW could have done MUCH better making the battery accessible. Seems like they were content with making the hapless consumer dependent upon the shop for necessary replacement.

  • hi mark! - new fellow at the ROCKSTER-FORUM... :) -

thanks for your perfectly done removal instruction. nice to watch.

when i should need a new battery, i'm going to use it of course!

best wishes from hannover, uwe (rockster-forum.de)

  • Well done...I like it a lot.

  • Thanks Sweatmark, not just for the video but the technique, makes it practically impossible to misplace screws which is my biggest faux pas with jobs like these. I like the cardboard idea as well as the painfully specific labels. Folks like you make owning our bikes an even more pleasant experience and the entire internet of unfathomable utility....

  • thanks!

  • Thanks for taking the time to do this.

  • Thanks for doing this. Will help me a lot when I do this.

  • Thank you for the video DIY!
