@thijssiewit it's very very similar, but not 100% the same. i.e. assist attacks, ex burst during an attack and time will slow down giving you time to counter attack and chases are faster.

This review is pure lies. Every move has HUGE recovery time and even bigger startup times so if you throw out anything the standard move is to move and punish. Even your dodge jump and dash have recovery. Plus Bravery Points mean your upgraded characters forfeit ALL their attack power if someone punishes you mashing bravery attack (circle) the fastest attack their is.

I know its FF, but its not fun. Its cumbersome and painful to play. Review just shows flashy moves and never goes into the game

the only thing i did not like of this game was that square manage to put lighting as she was the strongest and leader character of other character that are really awesome much awesome tha she is i hate ff 13 , but on the other hand the game is awesome i really love it using squall , cloud, zidane, tidus, terra and jetch nicee

Dissidia is an ok game for PSP. The graphics, moves, and action are crazy, but the story line makes me lose respect for the game. I'm one of those gamers where if the story line isn't interesting then I wouldn't play it...for long, but Dissidia has become an exception. The fighting and action is what saves it for me.

5. Why even bother playing as a Warrior of Chaos (especially since they have NO PLAYABLE STORYLINES!)

@obitokun57 I never played FFXIII, mainly because of Lightning. Kain is one of my favorite characters of the entire FF franchise but that doesn't change the fact the Exdeath killed him and some of the other characters that I enjoyed playing (Namely: Yuna, Tifa (I only like her because of she is the only one of the very few characters in the Compilation of FFVII that I actually give a damn about), Laguna (who is a better father than Jecht), and Prishe (better than playing Shantotto) ).

@SoraDrive Well, Zack and Angeal could've easily been Cloud clones, so they could just make a DLC for that later, but you also have to remember that they'd severely piss off fanbases for the other games if they put all their attention into VII. While there are a lot of people who like VII and the games that go with it, there's also an equal amount of people who hate it as well. It's really kind of a touchy area that they have to be very careful with.

Had they added even more characters from 7 (like maybe 3 more), people who like 8, 6, 4, and heck, even 10 more would undoubtedly get seriously pissy for them forgetting about the rest of the series. See what I'm saying? If they put all their focus on one game in the series, problems occur.

I was really happy with the addition of Kain but I still wanted freaking Vivi in like most everyone else, despite never having played IX. Haha. I like the idea of a Black Mage in there. There's a lot they could add, just didn't do it.

@SoraDrive Ehh, I don't know how they'll do a sequel to be honest. Nice as it'd be, 012 kinda ties things up. But we can always have our fingers crossed.

013 is the story in the original Dissidia. Which actually has annoyed most everyone since most people don't want to do the 013 storyline again, considering they've already done it in the first game. But it changes it into the Duodecim style of exploration.

There's an 000 after that, which is where you'll find Feral Chaos and hear that story.
