Coming from an Everton Fan, Yakubu just isn't is the same player he was 2 years ago. Everton just doesn't have any outstanding strikers and that is what is holding them back this season. They shouldn't have to rely on a midfielder (not that Tim Cahill doesn't deserve his glory ) to score the majority of the goals. I hope I'm wrong about Yakubu but now I just see him as slow and lazy.

I think the yak is gettin unfair critism of the fans lately, he had a series injury in 2008 and was out for 13 months. Last season he played 21 games only starting 9 and still got himself 6 goals. This year he will be fit and strong and will score, he's a proven scorer ! Hope we dont sell him, but it looks like we will !!!
