seriously and I not jokinf the f355 is not as pretty as you say,maybe it's the best to drive but not the best lookin ferrari, the ferrari 288 GTO is better looking,the testarossa is way better looking, and in the modern days I cannot find a single great looking ferrari. and the same goes for the lambo there's nothing like a countach lp500s not even the diablo the murcielago or any other,maybe I'm just crazy but in my opinion those were really astonishing supercars
I totally agree except for the fact that i think that the Diablo is the last proper Lambo. Audi stole part of Lambo's emotion and replaced it with that German magic or something.
How are they designed by accountants? Ferraris are still designed by Pininfarina, aren't they? I'm not saying you're wrong at all, I'm just surprised to hear that. I could not agree more, they just don't make supercars like they used to.
@odentroll There are no true artists left. Just look at the music that we listen to. Watch TV... Look at the architecture that surrounds us. The majority of everything made today is shit. If it weren't for sex, people of the 21st century would pretty much be machines. No passion for anything any more.
Perhaps having too many expectations is wrong with me. I understand for the new generation, everything is good. Even the radio. Movies certainly (give me another Bing Crosby or Elvis, somebody? Timberlake the best thing they can find?). Cars with their big chunky features... The Enxo has potential, but it's not there. I find a Legendary Icon with a big history that everyone agrees to like such as the historic McLaren F1 much more than some half-canoe.
And it's not just the cars that have gone downhill, it's a lot of things. Music today is horrible - all done by computers, just like the cars. You don't even have to sing anymore, computers will fix that. Just sad.
@ShawnMc28 They went wrong with all of the electronic nannies. ABS isn't so bad, TC isn't so bad when if you want it there. But race mode this, suspension mode that just ruins the fun
I've seen a few of the GTSs now where the owner has had the roof sprayed body colour too, so now you can have the looks of the Berlinetta with the feel of the Spider.
In 20 years we'll be driving electric boxes, maybe those of us who are wealthier will have ones that are painted red and have pop up headlights and strakes cut into the side of the body and a speaker that plays the tune of an F355 as you accelerate...
