I have a Fender Roscoe Beck V with dual graphite rods in the neck. You could land the Space Shuttle on it, and it's one-piece maple. Never moves unless I want it moved.

That said, I used to own a late-70's BB and it blew my old Fenders away in tone and feel.

He is VERY wrong about the quarter sawn neck !

The grain lines is going in parallel with the strings!

@pleximanic No, that is a standard neck. As if it were parallel then the grain would be running the same direction as the strings, the quater sawn neck has grain facing perpendicular to the strings, with a frotboard parralel to the strings. His discription wasn't exact but was more or less correct
