  • A younger horse I presume. I went pro in 1992. I have multiple championships in the Hit Show circut in jumpers. My horses win because I think like a horse. We go on long trotting hacks 3 days a week on the trail. My horses really work up a nice sweat. We jump 2 times a week. Once over small technical jumps and one day over larger.3-3'6. We only do the bigger jumps 5'0 a couple of weeks before the show. Then I spend one day on dressage. It teaches you to use your leg/seat more than your hands.

  • do you mind if i use this video????? let me know ASAP!

  • ahh falling off one of the great joys of riding horses :P

Did the horse jump the fence?

  • you shoulda held him back when he gradually got faster

  • if you had let him have a little bit more speed in the beginning, this wouldn't have happened

  • huh? u relize that makes no sense right? its obviously a green horse...shit happens just shut up and leave them alone.

  • How very unladylike.

  • im just telling her what she said makes no sense! lol

  • really good form for you and your horse. me being an advanced novice level rider myself, thinks that was pretty impressive. good control when he got excited. now i know every good rider loves advice. (at least i do) and mine to you is have a little more release. that could be getting him frisky. don't lose your rein contact, just push your arms up his neck so he can stretch over the jump. it will be more comfortable for you and him. :]

  • that looks sore that happened to me but i broke my arm badly

  • me 2

  • not such a harsh fall ALL HORSE LOVERS AND OR SADDLE CLUB LOVERS VISIT MY CHANNEL AND READ EVERYTHING I WROTE. THEN IF YOU'RE INTERESTED UPLOAD A VIDEO AND SEND IT 2 ME!!

  • lol i know this is mean but i laughed so hard!! haha that horse was outta there!~

  • haha spanked

  • ouch! I did somthing just like that it waz brutal!

  • i love how everyone who comments on youtube talks like they are a professional gp jumper. you people don't know anything so don't talk

  • The horse clearly has a tooth problom. It was pulling at the bit.

  • I looks like a pain issue. He shows resistance after every jump and hollows out.

  • what r u talking about it wasn't a bad buck... it obliviously was considering she fell off..... great rider and beautiful jumping position!! beautiful horse 2! gr8 job!!

  • nice flying change at 0:06!!!

  • ouch it looked like the rider spine shattered!!

  • beautiful horsey

  • that was a bad fall. i almost fell getting bucked off b4. i love when my horse Relience bucks. its fun!!!!

  • ive fallen off but ive never fallen off when the horse bucked, only when i jump.

  • That wasn't a bad buck, my horse does it way bigger than that. ;p

Yeah, sudden incidents do happen though. :]

    Nice video. (:

  • wow...ya just wow

  • the horse was like FREEDOM!!!! I'M FREE!!! WOOHOO!!!!

  • its true to she was catching his mouth at a lot of jumps

  • man she fell really ackwardly lucky she wasnt hurt

  • yah id be bucking and acting that way two if you were riding me and kept bumping me in the back and mouth

  • lol omg that was funny after she fell he was like FREEDOM! haha!

  • really tine jumps

  • That nagg needed that gallop lol

  • she loked amazing!

  • I would have bucked her off too seeing how many times she hit the poor horse in the mouth.

  • PEOPLE! Stop pointing out what she did wrong! Like you've never made a mistake in horseback riding! Honestly! Just give her congrats that she didn't get hurt! Jeeezzz!!!!

  • Great Job dont listen to nasty comments!! she did great! she is a gret jumper!! GOOD JOB!!!

  • i can handle rears but not bucks..lol

  • I got bucked off today while jumping a course. The horse I was riding had not been ridden for a week. Talk about frisky! The first buck I managed to sit well, the second one was the hugest buck ever and I got thrown to the ground. My back really aches, but I got back up and finished the course.

  • lol hmmm if someone was draggin me around by the mouth like that i would do the same, and run off jst as fast as that horse did

    lol

    !

get a neckstrap if u cant keep ur hands stil :P

    xxx

  • it was funny what the horse did after he got the rider off!!

  • ha, ha, that horse really took off after she fell off! =D lol

  • Good bye horse

  • Yes, on second watching, her base of support (legs) is loose/swinging, and and she is grabbing at the reins for counter-balance. Previous comment reinforced.

  • Maybe if she didn't hit her horse in the mouth over every single fence, my god! Grab some stinkin mane already! And yeah, this horse looks a bit hollow, but wouldn't you if you know you're gonna be wacked in the mouth over every effort!! Give the girl a neck strap and go back to cross rails!

  • Actually i think she did really well, she has a great position and the horse has a lovely soft jump ; sorry about the fall :P

  • this horse is in pain, notice the stiff back leg action and the dragging of the hind leg at 48secs, this horse has stifle problems and is crying out for help, when its ignored time and time again after each jump causing more discomfort...the horse has had enough and chucks its rider, I would have too.

  • agreed, that was really noticable too, he was really uncomfortable

  • Such a shame. They were doing so well!

  • I think it's the best thing ever when you do that on a pony when it's only 4 feet. It's so funny when it tries to buck you off. Hope the rider wasn't hurt at all!!

  • Pretty good ride, besides the bucked off part.

  • I totally agree with you BigBoyRocky, i could see signs after the second jump, she did need to sit up and definatly shorten the reins.

  • Nice horse... you could see it happening from a while back. She just needs to sit up and shorten her reins.

  • Well it was going great. and man that horse had go!

  • were are u

  • pretty horse! girl needs to keep her leg still though. you could tell from the begining that it wuz going to hapen

  • nah, she was doing good, she was just catching her horse in the mouth b/c he looked to be a bit green/fresh.

  • The horse was a wonderful hunter, he took his fences very cleanly.

  • the rider did a great job controling the horse until the end. good job!

  • Hey, please could I use this clip for a video collab I am doing? You'd get credit for it

  • I thought you were doing very well until then...

  • I'm glad she is OK! At least she was smiling afterwards ..

  • Ouch!, It Wasn't A Good Seating Position And Is Very Uncmfortable For The Rider + The Horse.

  • She has a bad seating on the horse, and a very ugly rise.

I'd like to see how she goes on a horse that really plays up

  • haha! he said "PEACE OUT!!!" poor girl though.

  • check the horse by the vet it seemed to be in slight pain after each jump. just a thought i am probaly wong.

  • because she was catching him in the mouth with the bit and hurt him - he warned her several times, but he'd finally had enough. still no fun to be her though...ouch

  • great riding! to bad about the fall. it happens! :p

  • R u ok? U caught your horse in the mouth & u jumped while he was bucking

  • maybe it was ticked off?

  • ow!!! that would hurt!

  • she had it coming, she catches the horse in the mouth every single jump and the horse just gets more and more frusterated. release and you get a happy horse.

  • yeah, that horse is very uncomforable. you´re right!

  • I know! That is crazy!

  • yeahh exactly my thoughts. you could see it coming.

  • you can tell hes gonna be a handfull from the start

  • i just dont get how she fell off.

it looks like she could easily handle that buck, but she just topples forward.

    weird.

  • I wonder why horses often buck out when their in show jumping, they always do that, i don't know why...

  • haha the horse was like yessssss~!!

  • got lil spunk in him but your a great rider

  • if you watch the horse after every jump it looks quite unhappy and seems to be in a bit of pain. have you checked saddle fit, teeth, back etc?

  • The horse definatly seemed a little agitated throughout his run..but she seemed to be handling him pretty well, up untill that last part, but it happens..if you ride, your gonna fall...

  • dude that fall wasnt graceful lol hope shes okay

  • the horse did look rather green, and its harder to focus on what your meant to in a competition. you could see that half way through the course the horse was starting to get over excited about its job and was skipping. she should have brought it back very collected instead of letting it run on (not that this was forseeable!) and given it a pat, talked to it and used some mini aids to get its attention back.

  • Not bad- u kinda did pop her in the mouth. But if you were a bit more focused on the horse instead of the jumps- i know this is "not" taught, but try it!

  • god you people need to stop watching youtube abd pro riders on the tv

every horse starts of green fucking hell get over it

she did realy well getting him over

    just one thing

thats why we have fences on our schools

  • i know the horse is a bit hot, but it would probably help if the rider released a LOT more over the fence. the horse is obviously being popped in the mouth over several of the jumps. No horse, no matter if it is dead broke or green, will take getting popped in the mouth without consequences.

  • if u look closely the horse got disunited...that usually throws their concentration off, and often leads to bucking, refusals and runouts.not the riders fault :) but what a lovely round before that

  • Aw, that must have been disappointing. They would have had a nice run. The horse has a nice canter, though. ;)

  • can i just ask y were you filming? cause it says rider so i takle that as you didnt know wher? if you did then well opppsss

  • the horse looks fine-she is in 2 point most of the round :S he just got a bit hot and excited nice ride though =)

  • The horse says FREEDOM AT LAST I'M FREE I'M FREE! lolz

  • bit of a green horse im guessing?????????????

  • yer he was obviously angry, his tail was thrashing aroun d like mad and that means they are angry annoyed dissrtressed etc.....

maybe the rider had somthing to do with it?

  • its obvious something is wrong, it gets worse and worse. maybe the rider should let go of the horses head over the jumps, you can see as the ride goes on and on and the distance gets closer and closer that he isnt being given his head to use his neck. the rider needs to be stronger in the tack to sink the weight into the stirrups, not hang onto the reins so much.

  • You can see that the horse is not comfortable before he bucks.... It is rather obvious. And did he jump the paddock fence or run out the gate?

  • he just gets disunited.

  • No his back is in pain, you are too backward in the seat, pounding on his spine, not even giving him a break. Every time you land, you don't hold yourself in the stirrups, but land on his back. Get some leg muscles. Even going into the jump you should still be in forward position. These are tiny jumps, don't be afraid.

  • omg i luv ur horse im still riding a shabby little pony so its never a far way down to the ground for me lol!

  • could i use this for my falls vid?

  • You horse's spine is being concussed too much, that is why he bucked you off. Look at his tail swishing alot as an indicator that his back is in pain.

  • No it seems like he's just being frisky. If his back was hurting him too much you'd know.

  • wow...I think he wanted to go faster. I was thrown 2 days ago from my TB mare. She freaked out and bucked/bolted. Usually I can sit it but it just came outta no where this time O.O

  • Nice round. I hope the girl's ok. She did very well! :)

  • Can I use this for a horse falls video?

  • wow thts a nice horse:) bet its worth a bit.. pretty unexpected buck.. was goin so well as well before tht!

  • ow that looked hard are u ok were did the horse go lol ? ?

  • this horse looked so mellow... untilll.... lol

    glad everyone is ok =)

  • even if it didnt have the title you could see it was gonna!

  • ummm were did the horses go ha??

  • ouch, that looked like it hurt! pretty horse though.

  • When you work with young horses long enough ye'll know when a horse is bucking!! Ever wonder where the term bucking bronco came from?? Bucking is mean and nasty trying to get you off, but that horse was just fresh and feelin well and the rider fell off. The horse wwas not tryin to get the rider off. If he wanted u off he would buck (properly) u off or drop his shoulder or both which is when i usually get buried. In England and Ireland and the term bronk is never used.I think u rode well though.

  • Emm that was a buck, only the two back legs need to be off the ground for it to be classified as a buck.

And yeah the horse was getting sillier but she was obviously trying her best.

Very good riding you were very quiet and stayed calm. Whoever said she pulled too much she hardly pulled at all, only to slow down and obviously she needed to.

    Keep up the good work!

  • WOW that horse looked pissed cause after the rider fell off that horse bolted!

  • That wasnt a buck, he just kicked his arse up. When horses buck thier heads disappear and their 4 feet leave the ground. He was fairly fresh lookin though and the rider was doin well to keep his mind on the job but when he rubbed the pole it was just the excuse he needed the fecker. Is it a young horse?

  • no that is called a bronck a buck is the back legs only

  • why the heck did he buck??? was he friskey?

  • I like your riding! Calm hands, you don't force the horse's head down like most jumpers do. Very good!

  • started off really well..

  • awesome and beautiful horse but the rider needs to stop pulling on him so much!

  • Yeah.

  • Great Ride awesome jumps! the horse was just not in a good mood! Keep it up you doin great!

  • She sould have been ready for that buck because the horse was just getting sillier ans sillier after every jump.

  • haha same thing happened to me except i was riding a little halflinger/welsh cross an i guess he dident want to jump over the barreles and pop i was off

  • what a GORGEOUS jumper, SO high! that sucks that you fell, but you've got an amazing horse!! very jealous

  • yikes

  • That stinks, happens to everybody sometime.

  • Aaahw you did such a great job!

And that's the way how the horse said thanks to you .. :P

sorry for my bad english (hope you understand)

    i'm dutch:)

  • lol the horse didn't even buck that was just a kick if that got you off a real buck would destroy you!!!!

  • dude your a nice ass rider. i'm glad your okay

  • wooo

  • haha he looked so calm and willing and just an all around nice boy :) Just like every horse, once in awhile they act up!I love how he hauls butt back towards the barn :) He's like, oops, gotta go!

  • my pony bucks

the horse only got exited like my pony does its ment to be fun isn't it?

  • woah that was unexspected! you didnt do to bad to say on!. i hope it didnt hurt?? if was you i would have thought where the fuck if my horse lol???

but anywyas you were doing really good at the showjumping :D

    x

  • haha she isn't the best rider if she can't sustain a buck XD

she was also pulling him in the mouth WAY too much

  • That's a gorgeous horse. You can sort of see him getting annoyed, the way he flicks his tail and fights her, and give her a few little warning bucks. Once in a while a horse just gets fed up.

  • It's unfortunate, she's a half decent rider but she caught him in the mouth a lot, you can see him getting fed up with it at the end. Nice ride otherwise!

  • and she was going so well

    lol

  • Yeah that was a really nice round until the buck.

  • that is a well nice horse how many hands is he his lovely x

    omment backk

    x

  • is it ok if i use this vid???

  • That was all he could stand - he couldnt stand no more!

  • 2 words: CREST RELEASE

  • Please Can I use this video for my horse falls video?

  • her horse is gorgeos i have a pony named buttercup

  • haha that horse was gone. lol. ive never had a horse run off on me. but it would be funny cause my horse would be so sad. shes always so disappointed when i cant sit her bucks

    lol

  • That was preventable-- his irritation was really building up. She should have just stopped and gotten off.

  • want more advice on the subject just go to horseproblemscomau cause the person who runs the website has linked this video to their website referencing stifle problems to this horse.

  • Yes the horse looks well looked after but that doesn't mean they can't have stifle lock or some other underlying problem. I have a miniature who had stifle issues and he's in excellent condition.

  • this horse does have something wrong with it missrazz, its clearly evident that it has stifle problems or a sacro-iliac injury, its so bloody obvious because of his movement in his hind, notice at 48secs where the horse is dragging one of his back legs, and through the whole video you can see clearly how stiff in the back legs he is, so yes there is evidence of a problem because his movement is not normal.

  • im doing a spills vid and was wondering if i could use ur vid?? if i could.would u pleaze e-mail on utube!! thanx so much!!! luv it!!! Hope i can use it!!! looks perfect 4 the vid i wanna do!!

  • there's nothimg wrong with the horse, its clear to see ot os weel looked after! and the horse was just green, some of my horses get like that, espically when jumping. its a well known fact that horses get exited when jumping, cuz they're having fun. and if the horse had a real back problem, it would be all too evident in his movement. the rider was going well. keep up the good work and dont let any of these comments put u down!

  • Horse: This is boring! Get off my back, wanna do something else...! Bye now!

And it only took one buck, omg XD

  • Hahaha, that was great, the horse gets more and more pissed off after every jump and then finally snaps and starts bucking :'D

  • i like how they have the whistle incase the horse takes oofff LOL!

are you alright after that buck??

  • um do you think i could use this video, i need some horse riding falls as i ran out, so can i use this?

  • yeah that horse was in pain. Poor thing. He must have some sort of back injury i would say;

  • just cause he bucked.rider fault

  • this horse is in pain, notice the stiff back leg action and the dragging of the hind leg at 48secs, this horse has stifle problems and is crying out for help, when its ignored time and time again after each jump causing more discomfort...the horse has had enough and chucks its rider, I would have too.

  • emmmmm ok!

no need to be soo harsh on her. .

    weirdo!!

  • gd horse, gd rider, gd jump, gd buck!

  • lol

  • hi, im making a falls vid aND WAS WONDERING IF U WANT UR CLIP 2 BE IN IT!! IF NOT, TEHN THATS OK, BUT IF SO MESSAGE ME AND IL TELL U ALL THE INFO!!! thanx a bunch!!! great vid!!

  • u could tell something was brewing up inside him lol

  • i noticed him getting a little aggitated before he actually bucked, if you have a little warning like that sit back and keep your hands forward and up so if he puts his head down you can still have your balance and all you have to do is pull his head up

  • How about at that point you just get the hell off and let the horse cool it..?!

When you feel something wrong, abort!! There's a REASON why the horse is being weird.

If it's only behavioral, I would rather surrender to the horse (by getting off) than stay and fight.. Because there's just too much risk.

  • if you do that the horse will learn, i buck-she gets off. if your a horse that seems like a pretty simple solution right? but if you stay on and correct him he knows that is not going to work. he has to do his job, you are boss not him

  • IF it is a behavioral problem, that's understandable. However, this is something that should be done BEFORE the show.

People have already observed that the horse could have already been injured-- his irritation could have been caused by a number of things.

Showing is not the time for training. Sometimes even the best behaved horses will act up in the strange surroundings. So to hell with "who's boss"- it's just common sense, for SAFETY, to STOP.

  • i would love to see you ride a horse that high-strung. they're animals, they're unpredictable- all you can do is teach them the best you can and hope that they cooperate. if you're as experienced of a rider as you're trying to sound, you'd know that everyday is different for a horse- maybe that day was a bad day. he was excellent, but she wasnt reading him very well and im sure had she gotten out of his mouth a little and not gotten flustered he would have settled down. he got nervous thats all

  • Agreed.

  • ahah aww! u did great ! the same thing happend to me, when he jumped , he just put his head down and bucked :P, its hard isnt it? ahah but fun!

  • good job happens to all of us:) nice horse just

    a bit frightened:(
