ossy, why do you use a dragon defender? any of the prayer books are better because your not tanking, your praying.

@cherrymilkwad yeah some of what i took makes no sense. It's pretty much what my friend takes minus the CLS/extremes/etc... But there's not really any tanking at TDs and depending on your other stuff, you should have a large prayer bonus anyway. So overall, I'd say it doesn't matter much. But I think i may change to Unholy Book since it gives + 8 in all attack bonuses but it has no defense so...

Things about your setup..

1) Dragon defender gives -2 ranged bonus. Why bother? You're not gonna weild it when you're meleeing.

2) If you're gonna use a godsword, use one with a half decent special.. Tbh anything other than zammy is good. I take chaotic maul which works well.

3) If you have a decent gravestone, a ring of life is completely unnecessary. It takes like 2 minutes tops to get back to your grave.

Talk about different spawns. About how theTD attacks. Guide is a 3/10.

@JaxRS I take the dragon defender because i don't have much else really. ZGS has a good spec, it's just useless at TDs and I have the ancient gravestone but I like to take a ring of life because I'm just worried about dying all the time and not being able to get back in time so...

@OSPRORuneScape Yea yea yea I totally get that, mainly I'm just saying you'd be better off taking no shield at all, or you could even take like a book of balance (guthix book) which is really cheap and is like +6 ranged bonus or so? Eagle eye kiteshield from dungeoneering would top that again. You should sell ZGS and buy a BGS, hit well with the spec the TD is owned in no time, or use a dds or something for a spec weapon also.
