Man I wish I lived where you are, you have an awesome S0 to S1 noise floor on 80/75 meters!!! You're lucky, hearing weak signal CW and digital modes with no noise on that band must be nice. I usually have an average noise floor from about S4 to S7 at night and during the summer months it's even worse with the lightning static crashes; I live 60 miles north of Toronto in a small town. 73 -VA3AWP
I have used the TS-2000 for over 3-years now, and find it has one of the most effective noise blankers out there. I have used too many rigs to count over the years, and the TS-2000 is the best at noise reduction that I have ever seen!
