  • keep landmines. as you can see they are effective.

  • Women are so stupid. Instead of helping and responding quickly to take care of the problem. They just aggravate the situation my screaming and yelling and crying. Stupid bitches. They brain is not only smaller than the male brain but less compartmentalized. Then they want to dominate society. How? by crying yelling and screaming? hahaha!

  • @bravo011504 Misogynistic generalization and biological reductionism, failing to notice possible causes due to imbalanced social norms, along with condescending statements without scientific basis. Educate yourself, bigot.

  • looks like if

    a terrorist watched

    this commercial,

    *puts on sunglasses*

    he wouldn't mine-d!

    YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!

  • she kinda deserved it once you think about it

  • pffft. drama queen!

  • soccer field location:FAIL

  • I find it odd how the field had never been played upon before.

  • Wow calm down. Chuck Norris really isn't all that badass. Besides, if Chuck Norris really was badass, he would clean my keyboard with my face3aqkeoiu89syugherwjkpojgfvy/ubihnjokmp,lbhjo1gifue56et5r7k=jnjbhvdts

  • Many say u cant defeat a landmine but.....Chuck Norris can. And The video was horrifying 'OnO'

  • That woman's screaming sounds HORRIBLE. My ears just bled.

  • This is worse than the T.V. here and yes there was gore just no chunks. Don't forget there are other countries who don't give money either. Don't just rely on America.

  • Bumbles121 OMG its an ad lol its not REAL

  • Uh oh

  • Reasons why I don't live in America.

  • They should put this on tv, hell, air it during the superbowl. If they can have anti abortion commercials with dead fetuses then they can show this.

  • the awkward moment when the adults decide to let the girls play soccer on a known battlefield

  • I watched this after my spanish exam... bad idea

  • HAHAHA

  • Funny as is, but better with Benny Hill

  • HAHAHAHHAHA

  • K this is so fake cuz that girl would have been blown Into pieces.

  • @bumbles121 No shit.

  • @bumbles121 This is made for TV dumbshit, I think gibblets of girl flesh flying everywhere would be less than TV appropriate, also landmines usually don't shred people, they more often blow off legs.

  • @faintoldrhyme Landmines left over from wars. Especially Vietnam.

  • Am I going to hell for laughing at this?

  • I understand what they mean by this, but why the fuck would they use a soccer field as a example? That goes up there with "Would you download a car"?

  • i like to plant landmines inside walmart, u know, because.

  • "Oh no a landmine! MUST.RUN.EVERYWHERE."

  • hahahah bad ass

  • @ilovekenna First off, you misspelled controversial in your description. Secondly, if you are not from America then how do you know it is less offensive than most American television? Finally, America is not responsible for your problems. Everyone bitches about how America butts their head into others business to much, but then when we don't do anything people complain. WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU EXPECT FROM US?

  • @Verdugo270 spoke like an American. LOVE The comment!

  • Ah you missed the cool gib effect cause one of the girls was in the way :(

  • This is why I don't play soccer.

  • but now i go to battlefield 3 and place some AT Mines :D

That dont kill soldiers, just destroy vehicles.

  • but, this is just filmed with actors...........

  • Whatever school this is is pretty goddamn unobservant if after god knows how long, a landmine is still in a FUCKING SOCCER FIELD. And I'm sure that a lawn mower would have hit it long before that kid.

Also, some of these comments are fucking gold! LANDMINES FOREVER!!!

  • we dont have enough money to help africa with landmines. get fucked u.n.

  • Land Mine : 1

    Blue Team : 0

  • What an explosive game!

  • EVERY

    DAMN

    TIME

  • is the girl with the gash on her leg who limps away crying the girl on modern family (the oldest sister)?

  • this is the most useless commercial ever... It says African considering fact that people die from AIDS other diseases, guns, starvation etc, I think mines should be the least thing to be concerned about. It's ok I starve to death and suffer while having aids and some other disease at least I won't have to loose sleep tonight over rolling over the mine while I sleep on the field or step on one while play in dirt....

  • @ccrpalex hey derpass, landmines are actually pretty fucking terrible and are much easier to remedy and the consequences are a bit more extreme (like having your legs blown off and being unable to work or even, you know, dying). and yes, hunger and starvation are also very real problems but they already have a lot of attention (everyone knows people starve everyday) unlike the landmine problem.

  • Now thats how soccer is played!!

  • Deep down we all know, we'd definatly watch this sport...!

"Rooney takes possession, up the left flank!....straight past the mid-fielders and BOOM...!! Oh my word, Rooney's luck runs out there as he steps on what appears to be a Valmera bounding mine, my word..." "Thats right Alan, Rooney not moving there, and indeed some of the opposing mid-fielders took some schrapnel to the torso it seems, Still, thats the 2nd mine found in the first half, still plently to play for here at Wembley.."

  • 2 kill streak! that was the most funniest death I have ever seen!

  • hahahahahahhaaaaa! What an idiot! What would any one accomplish by putting a mine on a soccer field? Hahahaa the UN are a bunch of morons

  • ok so who the fuck would put a landmine on a soccer field to begin with in a non war area? and also, that landmine would have been detected a long time ago.

  • @MikeTap4321 placed pre non war times (ie, during an actual war), was never detected. similiar situation can be found all across the world (korea)

  • Just steamroll everything

  • Well this is just horrible ÓnÓ

  • The other team just has a better defense.

  • Stacaaaaaaaay!!!

  • the reason this wasn't aired in the U.S. is that it's poorly made and over-dramatic

  • the only ones who give a damn are the elephants

  • God hates soccer :D

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @DnlStnYtbr Thank you, but I'm afraid I won't be needing luck seeing as I'll be non-existent. I appreciate the sentiment though.

  • Wouldn't it be ironic if the girl's name was Kenna?

  • "Would you stand for them here?" ..Umm, bad choice of words..

  • where's the gibs?

  • 0:30 I was waiting for the yakety sax to start.

  • That's the universe punishing her for scoring off such a weak strike.....

  • damn that would make the world cup way better if thay put down landmines

  • That... was... so fucking funny. It's too much; it's simply too much.

  • @Pomme843 Actually landmines or very low on the priority list here because we just haven't a big problem with them. I can't even remember if I've heard of a mine or old bomb that had been hidden exploding here. I've read ocassionally of old unexploded bombs being found, but that is rare. Since it is not a big problem here, unfortunately, the issue gets no traction. BTW, I think maybe they SHOULD have shown the add here, if just to make Americans more aware of it.

  • Actually I'm pretty sure it didn't heir because guess what? Children watch more than just Cartoon Network. Many of them will usually watch whatever their parents have flipped to. I agree with the idea that we should help get rid of old landmines sitting around without any war to make them of any use, but you shouldn't be so cynical about a network's reasons for not putting something on THEIR channel. And you have heard of lawsuits, right? Just checking.

  • She didnt gib at all, she just sort of fell over?

    lame.

  • Fake, women can't play football >:3

  • THERE ARE LANDMINES!!!!!! AHHHHH RUN ALL OVER THE PLACE!!! AHHH!!!!!!!

  • ragegasm at 0:45

  • What happens when Americans call Footbal, Soccer.

  • ithumbs up if the yackety sax "This will make anything funny" video brought you here XD

  • Not quite as funny without the Benny Hill music...

  • How did they plant the sod for the soccer field......?

  • @CountHuber The UN isn't positing that linemines would actually be in a soccer field like this one. The details aren't important; the fact that landmines are killing children is the point. They want you to notice your reaction, and use your outrage at the thought to object to landmines in other countries as well.

  • Why on eath would they place a mine on a soccerfield? That's the only thing in this commercial what i don't understand.

  • @baerikon *bangs head on table* Okay. Here's the thing. Most landmines remain dangerous indefinitely once they've been buried. A year, 10 years, 50 years, doesn't matter. They'll still kill you. So once the war has been over for decades, and the battlefields have become farmland and residential areas again, the mines don't go away. It's easy for a soccer field or similar to be unknowingly created over an ancient minefield. This exact scenario has happened numerous times in reality.

  • @dark7element brings me on the next thing, why didn't it explode earlier then? If you look at the field you can see it's used many times before so why did it explode now? Another thing the military would know that mines were played there so they would jump in if people want to make a soccerfield at that place... you clearly banged your head to hard on the table...

  • @baerikon First of all, it's quite possible for a field to be in use for years without anyone stepping on a specific patch of ground. Secondly, old mines are unreliable and sometimes will not go off the first time. IN THEORY, a military can remove the mines after a war, but mines are often dropped by aircraft or artillery shells, and guerrilla forces seldom keep track of minefields they've created. Large parts of Cambodia are still uninhabitable because of all the airdropped mines.

  • @dark7element well if you look good after the moment the mine exploded you can clearly see that they planted the mine on a place where is already been walked before... So the only thing that remains is that a sick bastard placed the mine the day before this match was...

  • @baerikon *Bangs head against table* So what you are saying is that you don't think landmines should be outlawed because this commercial didn't present a completely realistic depiction of land mines killing children (which they do)? And that you think that the real danger of landmines, as opposed to the very-slightly-exaggerated danger in this commercial, doesn't justify banning them?

  • @dark7element Did I said that? NO.... Did I think that? NO... Its just that I find it unlogical that someone would plant a mine on a soccerfield thats all. But I totally agree with you in the point of outlawing that shit, but there will always be people who will make their own landmines, instead of buying the normal ones and the use of those will probably be far more dangerous....

  • is it bad that I laughed? the thought of a tween soccer player getting blown up just makes smile for some reason

  • @ronin6401 Don't worry. At my job it's now an inside joke and I've shown my dad, my brother and my step brother. We all can't stop laughing from it XD

  • As nasty as landmines are you can't deny the fact that they are effective in doing their jobs now only if the idiots remebered to remove them and this commercal always makes me shakey

  • great

  • i love these video reactions! XD

  • ...What a dumb commercial.

  • that was hilarious

  • HAHA

  • This is what we pay the UN to do?

  • This video by itself is very funny! With Yakety sax added, it's hilarious! I cannot stop laughing!

  • @ipodzrock1 ikr :L

  • Put these between Mexico and America and our immigration problems are fixed...

  • yeeaaahh yehhh baby.....kapooowwww.....ooohh noooo....hahahahahah XD

  • If there were actually landmines in soccer I might watch it more

  • xDD

  • Maybe if there were more landmines in Soccer I would actually watch it

  • The gore is not the issue for amaerican children it is the concept of a young girld blowing up on a soccer field...i would not want my child to see this no matter what country they are in...stop pretending it is american snobbery

  • this commercial is real terrorism.

  • Teabaggers want to put landmines on the USA/Mexico border.

    Good plan, idiots.

  • there are no landmines in america, which is why we dont give a shit about this commercial

  • That is very funny!

  • For goodness's sakes, why was she screaming for someone to help her if there was already someone there? And why were they focusing on the girl that had her leg screwed up and not the other girl, who didn't even seem to be dead because she was, like, looking up?

  • Well thats a way to reduce population xD And to win championships faster ROFLMAO

  • the other team just had a better defense

  • @MultiNAZIzombies All I can say to this comment is...........LOL

  • My odds are on the shady looking people at 0:04 remotely detonating it.

  • so is the girl gonna get a penalty kick?

  • @killaman813 HAHAHAHAHA, genius

  • Oh common, she totally dived!

  • The red team are not good losers.

  • i havent laughed this hard in a long time this made my day

  • SOCCER MOM

  • " it was not played because, let's face it, Americans do not like to see harm done to Americans"

I am pretty sure a reason it was not played because they would not want young children to see it. Seriously why would you want a little kid watching something like this?

  • @RedNudidity I agree it could really effect young children

  • The soccer field was just angry from people stomping all over it

  • Landmine 1 Soccer Girl 0

  • Pussiessss ()

  • Doesn't anyone care about how the soccer field just got jacked up with a crater? Jeese.

  • EXTREME SOCCER.

  • Haha I like how the Ref just sprints away and doesn't help the girl

  • 0:22 That goalie is atrocious

  • DAMN!!!

  • kinda made soccer more exciting in a way

  • Combination of helicopter, propeller aircraft, and vehicle armor car is ideal for landmine avoidance.

  • I find it annoying they won't let that lady run to her daughter

  • @HiSmashley They don't want risk of getting hit by another landmine...

  • IT'S THE COMMIES! THEIR INVADINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH :)

  • LOL, So after like 5 years of playing soccer on that field no one steps on it? LOLO

  • i hate your description. Its stupid and shows the unamerican sentiment of other counties after we have helped the world out so much.

  • @FeSo4man Translation: I hate how the world gets pissy after decades of our foreign policy have done things like equipping the taliban and vetoing laws which would stop illegal isralie settlements.

  • @FeSo4man

How do you know he/she are from another country? I'm from the US and i have anti-American sentiment simply because we HURT the world so much. Nothing wrong with anti-American sentiment. If we can be anti-Iraq, anti-China, anti-North Korea, anti-Russia, anti-Afganistan, anti-Canadian, anti-Mexican, anti-Cuban, anti-Japanese (to some extent, then again they are anti-foreigners), oh the list goes on and on..

  • What's the 1911 feature?

  • land mines are stil a big problem in croatia and bosnia

  • Landmines are still a problem? Where? Maybe in the middle east...

  • STACCCCCCCCCY!

  • When she stepped on the mine I started laughing, is this normal?

  • @UserRelated LOL

  • Press the 1911 button while watching this.

  • STACY! STACCYYYY! lol sorry but that made me laugh!

and again at 00:35 while running, STAAAACYY

  • uhhh i think i missed the messsage... i watched it with the 1911 feature so i kinda just giggled lol.... ohhh hell here i come

  • this advert works rather well with the Youtube 1911 feature

  • In soviet russia, landmines remove the UN

  • The NBA on NBC one was better

  • pause at 0:04 and look at the two people in the background.... WTF?!

  • @t1mb3r7and their 2 ladys....

  • Good lord, talk about over-fucking-dramatic. Also, aren't there enough problems in the world right now to have to worry about landmines? At worst, some Middle Eastern towelhead gets blown up every once in a while in Afghanistan. Sorry, but people have enough shit to deal with right now.

  • Some one put this to Guile's Theme

  • lol

  • This is ridiculous

  • All I can say about this video is....THE SKY'S THE LIMIT!

  • So a man, or women, gets up in the middle of the night and digs up this field. He then places a landmine in the middle of it and covers it up so NOBODY notices it. They then precede to play an entire game and avoid the mine. Then a girl steps on the mine and NOBODY screams "Should have watched where you were stepping"? UNREALISTIC

  • @diminish3000 Why would someone scream that? That's unrealistic =)

  • @shiron236 not really unrealistic. I mean if my baby were to be blown up like that, i'm pretty sure I would be screaming like a maniac to. Now, the dad's scream on the other hand, sounded a little to unrealistic xD

  • press 6 again and again super scream

  • She didnt hear the click because it only goes off if you take your foot off as long as your foot is on your fine so she was just a dumb girl

  • @cod5x

Ok retard, then how was she going to be able to escape if she cant take her foot off?

  • Why would there be a fucking land mine there?

  • Press "8" nonstop

  • Press "6" repeatedly to hear Stacy's dad scream forever.

  • Comment removed

  • They should make one for football and air it on the super bowl! That would piss off alot of people and get alot of money!

  • Comment removed

  • that woman screaming was so annoying. That little girl would've been in pieces

  • I'm sorry, upper middle class white people, but that's what you get for listening to Coldplay and Dave Matthews. I hope you've learned your lesson.

  • 00:30 stacy stacy stacccccccyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • lol

  • Thanks god this was a commercial xD

  • I find it funny that you would try to force your own opinion about the united states as fact in the description. Also why should I an American fork out money for landmines my country didn't even place. We don't air this commercial because essentially their are no random landmines across the united states because we're not some third world shitty country run by cartels and warlords. Go suck a dick you self righteous fag.
