  • is the white guy at 9:48 on the top bunk english??

  • is the white guy at 9:48 on the top bunk english??

  • "So you just walk in the cell and say hello?" Lmaoooo

  • This military thing is sooo rediculous!

  • @Gelderwick Why is that?

  • the 14 yr old-what he did is completelyyyy wrong..and i guess the bootcamp is a good idea..but straight away u can tell hes breaking down..kind of feel sorry for him but hopefully this will sort him out before he really ends up killing someone

  • "That's WHAYY WE GIVE HIM DA SEVENTY TWO HOWAR ADJUSMEN PERIOD...NAH WA I SAYIN?"

God...and those are the boot camp instructors...

  • fuckin glad i was a good lad most iv ever done is shop lifting, and robbing sheds

  • @yesimdyslexicyoucunt hypertheticaly speaking ofcourse

  • what a bunch of retards together ! trying to be tough ,pethatic !

  • He's just a little kid and he get's 10 years? Holy fuck.

  • fourteen? O______O

  • 2:51 i thought that sargeant was a GIANT lol..then i realized he was on a table.

  • 9:35 WATCH THE GUARDS FACE, HIS REACTION! EPIC!

  • @Paralyzer

lol , big guard shit himself

  • On reflection, do you know what sickens me the most?

They sentenced a fourteen year old to 10 years because he's black.

  • @Slapbass13 Black race-players like u are so annoying..How do u know its because he's black? You don't know what went on in the court room when he was Sentenced. Plus, the 14yr old angel was in possession of a gun & about to blow somebody's brains out then u claim that no child is a criminal (?)...I guess if that gun was directed at your head you would've been forced to think differently

  • @IsAnnieReallyOkay If he wasn't black he would have got the same sentence? Wake up. No child is a criminal, they are a child. Had he been an adult, he would be criminal. Children are not responsible for their actions. Let him off? No, he needs to know that that behaviour is not right; he needs educating not punishing. 'if that gun was directed at your head you would've been forced to think differently'... I can't believe you really typed that then looked at it and thought it was a good argument.

  • 10:08 OFFICER RICKY!

  • So is this boot camp some sort of requiting institution for the army? Iraq/Afghanistan next?

  • DAT DOOD BE SNITCH`IN MAYNE!

  • I have kind of weak self esteem and am sort of physically weak too. It seems like this is a place that would really toughen a person up. I have a hard time getting motivated to find strength, this would force me. Does anyone know a way I can end up in this sort of place - but I don't want to hurt anyone or do anything unethical etc. Any tips? I was thinking maybe some sort of administrative crime, like driving without a license, but I'll do it 5 or 6 times?

  • @dannymaclamp no man do something else, sign up for the military, start in a boxing club. Not this.

  • @dannymaclamp uniformed groups/army

  • 10 years in prison, for a fourteen year old boy.

10 years in which he will learn how to become a criminal as an adult.

  • @Slapbass13 Yeah because he was not a criminal 14 year old, and without the prison he would have become a normal citizen. Also he didn't recieve 10 years, he got 6 months bootcamp

  • @Awzomk He's a child, not a criminal. No child is a criminal. Prison would have made him worse, that's what it does to children who society dubs 'criminals'. He got 10 years in prison OR 6 months in Bootcamp. That means had he not conformed to their regime, he would have had to remain in prison until he was 24. He is being treated like an adult. He isn't an adult. This is wrong.

  • @Awzomk In a way, what you say is actually true. It is much more likely that he would've 'gone straight' had he not gone to prison.

  • Wow, ten years for a dumb 14-year-old kid? What a joke no wonder these guys become worse in prison. My brother in law had a tought life and was a mixed up kid and was arrested for armed robbery of a gas station when he was 16. He did no time, just a lot of hours and now is a business and home owner and has two young boys to which he is a devoted father. Of course, he says it was my sister that straightened him out.

  • the only reason they are been treated like animals in prison, is because they were animals on the outside.

  • I love the haircuts :D no but seriously this is a fucked up system

  • The if he was mentally ill why do they put them in that type of jail... 13:14 ?

  • That army stuff and putting of 10-14 year olds into adult prisons looks like Fascism, seriously. They treat those inmates like animals, isn't normal.

  • If that kid was white he wouldn't get ten years

  • @MrTEZ850 Yup

  • why the hell are these tenies there??

    they should be home!!!

    thas just animal behaving!!

jail is much better than this!

  • @Howard00Wolowitz shut up grandpa , didnt ask u nothin , nerd

  • @persian1soldier if he putted his gun at your face ull probaly talk less shit

  • @Venom0007 learn to spell.

  • 3:50 - is that Rocky's trainer in Rocky 4?

  • og young niggas ;niggas younger than me bust'it

  • So I herd Sir Jimmy died :( and thought i would tubute him by watching some videos. Then i saw the interview with Louis Theroux and thought; This guy is ass hole. Now I'm on the second part of this documentary and addicted to his "Fish out of water" style reporting. And to say the least Jimmy Savile never hung out with no asshole.

  • It reminds me of some kind of perpetual Fight Club.

The 'snitches' must have forgotten the first and second rules...

  • how can you sentence a 14 year old kid for 10 years as a adult in a adult prison??? fucked up fucking americans and they are the laudest ones to talk about democracy and humanity

  • @persian1soldier Well that's why he got offered a chance to go to boot camp. Plus this doesn't really have anything to do with democracy.

  • @persian1soldier

So then what do we do to kids who commit adult crimes? I'm asking your opinion: How do we fixed people like him?

  • @persian1soldier you assume that the boy is telling the truth and not lieing, although putting him in jail with men is ridiculous. Especially after seeing these guys on these documentaries.

  • @persian1soldier AND LOVE TO DENY INNOCENT PEOPLE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES VISAS. DUMB AMERICANS

  • @persian1soldier 1:30 10 years for armed robbery with previous convictions for GTA seems very lenient to me.

  • @persian1soldier You wouldn't be saying the same if a 14 year old would kill your family.

  • @Awzomk It is not for the victims of a crime to dispense justice, it is the job of society. It strikes me that (ironically) you yourself have a very juvenile view of what justice means.

  • @Slapbass13 When did I say its up to the victims? I said that he wouldn't say the same if a 14-15 year old killed/hurt his family.

My view is that if you do such crimes when you are in that age, you should be sentenced after what you have done, its bullshit that people starts crying about his age when a person 3~ years older would have gotten adult prison, this guy got another chance twice, then he chose to go to jail and face his sentence, he chose it himself, not justice? w/e

  • @Awzomk So? they don't deserve it...

  • @xRyuBu He doesn't deserve 6months bootcamp? He was offered that twice, but he decided prison. I think that speaks for itself.

  • Do u think that personal abuse/insults/verbal violence from the soldiers really helps?

    Id just zone out.

What happened to horseriding and therapy sessions for troubled youth?!

(im in australia & have no idea about gang culture)

U can tell he comes from a gang family background-heartbreaking.

He is a product of his parenting.sad.sad.

Most of these kids wouldve had potential given the right protection/homelife/positive boundaries.

  • @Awzomk so you think he wanted to go away for 10 years?

  • @xRyuBu He said so, that's all I can base it on.

  • @Awzomk well, he didnt kill anyone did he?

  • @persian1soldier No he didn't, I was giving an example.

  • @persian1soldier totally agree, but I think the boot camp will be good for him and possibly save his life!

  • that 14 year old had two prior convictions.

  • @persian1soldier hey dutchboy, why don't you raise him in the Netherlands you asshole. Fucked up fucking dutch, they are the most liberal and they don't do anything to help anyone.

  • @persian1soldier

Why do you name yourself after Persia (Iran), the country that hangs people for being gay? Dipshit.

  • @randir14 if you americans actually learned something about anything else than north america you would know that persia was FREE and when the muslims took over they named our country iran you dumb fuck get your facts straight before you talk nonsense and for the record why the fuck do you think we left iran? and stop talking about killing people cuz the world could learn a thing or 2 from america about killing people the only difference is that you do it in a smart way, hypocrite motherfuckers!

  • @persian1soldier

No, you are the hypocrite. You're also full of anger, no wonder you people hang gays and beat women.

  • @randir14 im not full of anger, i just dont like your kind!!

  • @persian1soldier no need to berate all of america, i can understand ignorant people that can be everywhere, but not all american's are stupid so don't be a cocky asshole.

  • @persian1soldier yeah well maybe that 14 year old prick shouldn't have held someone up with a gun. these animals need shooting, no sympathy

  • @persian1soldier I get the feeling that theEU amongst other nations may one day get tired of the US and put sanctions on them just to bring them down from their world policing high horse and bring them up to date on many different issues The EU is Americas big brother I may not like their system but I do admire the US peoples spirit and their country is awesomely beautiful. The Americans should understand that they are Europeans and that the only Americans are the native Indians

  • @persian1soldier I've done my share of time in prison, so I completely sympathize with these prisoners. I dont know this kids case, so I can only tell you our reasons for such drastic measures. We have a huge gun culture & lots of freedom to use these firearms. If you commit a crime with a gun most states have mandatory maximum sentences. If you commit an "Adult Crime" you will receive an adult sentence. They try to judge these events case by case. Things like premeditation etc

  • i took a tour of this same place... shit dont play

  • They should do this with every prison inmate!

  • That Jackson looks like Deron Williams if you shave his head :)

  • This is the way they should treat the pedophiles from the other documentary!

  • Johnny just summed up why rehabilitation doesn't work. You could be convicted of a lowly drug charge spend 6 months in jail and come out a s hardened criminal to me it just seems like its making things worse.

  • Wow Johnny is actually well spoken

  • Lol did u hear what that guy said who failed the program,he set fire 2 a females building cause she was gunna testify against his friend, hes in jail cause he was trying 2 protect a friend, lol looks like we have a follower not a leader.a leader would have killed her and said nothing 2 n e 1 not even his friend...........

  • @MrOldschool416 are you retarded?

  • Hey ppl armed robbery is armed robbery, hes lucky hes not in Texas..................

  • I feel sorry for these guys, they have been clearly brought up in a toxic environment and they know no normal life, you can see that most of them are normal guys who deserve to live lifes outside jails (or later prisons). I like the military program. It might look like the inmates are stripped of remaining dignity, but in fact they are just showed to be loyal to someone else than their gang.

I keep my fingers crossed for every one of them, even though i know most of them are doomed for life.

  • THUMB UP JULESMAESTER!!!

  • First bell is at five minutes of eight when you will get in your bunk and last bell is at eight. Any man not in his bunk at eight will spend a night in the box. There is no smoking in prone position in bed. To smoke you must have both legs over the side of your bunk. Anyone caught smoking in prone position will spend a night in the box.

  • Johnny Jackson is my Favourite in this documentary

  • Few questions, the first is, whats so special about the fuckin' bottom bunk, or the "bottom rack" as they call it, how is it better than sleeping on the top, they exactly the same. The second is, the guy who jumps out of the bed covers at 9:43 is on a top bunk, yet he looks alot harder than the black guy whos sleeping on the bottom bunk with the gold teeth. The guy at 6:09 seems to think he's a big man because he has bruising on his knuckles, and talks like he has a broken jaw, he looks trouble..

  • @BigWilki123321 Its probably easier to defend yourself on bottom bunk, plus its easier to climb in and out of.

  • @Ih8thePolice Hmm I wudda thought the bottom bunk would be worse, everyone in the cell could just trap you in a bottom bunk and beat the shit outta you, at least with a top one theres more space to escape. Escape to where though im not quite sure......

  • Funny how Louis treats these gang bangers and (alleged) murderers with respect, and yet he bullies the gentile Chris Eubank to the point where he is genuinely hurt and upset for "trying to be a good role model."

  • Too bad I dont have friends that would burn down someone's apartment that was going to testify against me

  • at 2:50 I was like what? there is one gigantic officer!

  • This last guy is......."oh poor pitiful me" instead of him gaining "respect" like normal people he thinks he can beat it out of folks. Where I come from that's not respect he's looking for its fear.

  • Boot Camp vs Prison...no brainer!

  • Whats with the beards they seemed to be in fashion in these places too... is it Rick Ross or Guantanamo?

  • fucking hell you can feel it in Louis's voice when he's questioning that 14 yr old

  • Why does this English prick think he knows how to run the joint?

  • @BIGBROTHERXXII

    He doesn't. However:

    1) Questions allow Louis to bring more information to the audience. The point of a documentary is to inform. Louis would be wasting camera potential if he just passively watched and listened all the time.

  • @BIGBROTHERXXII

    2) Questions force prison guards - an authority who wield power over inmates - to explain how they keep order (or fail to) and safety in their prisons. Would you rather just listen patiently and accept everything the guards say? Don't you think it's a good idea for citizens to ask governments questions? Are you a dumb sheep?

  • @BIGBROTHERXXII

    3) Since you don't like English people: Any twat can post insults online. Only teenage loser basement-dwellers use such stupid xenophobic insults. I won't lower myself to your level by responding in kind, Internet Tough Guy.

  • There is something about Johnny that I really like. I can't explain it but the way he talks... it's so matter of fact. I have never heard anyone talk like him, it's like a little bit slang and a little bit nerd and very straight to the point.

  • LOL BAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • @MultiRanger88 it was when the guy was under the covers and jumped out

  • What's with the towels over the mouths? For anonymity...or the smell?

  • 10 years for a 14 year old? That's insane! If he had killed someone I could understand but armed robbery and past GTA? Makes no sense putting a kid like that in there.

  • @julesmaester Makes perfect sense. The more inmates, the more money the state makes. States receive certain amount of money for each inmate = more inmates, more money. Also the judges receive additional bonuses for bigger sentences.

  • @julesmaester It makes a great deal of "sense." A kid like him grows up in a certain place, and there is no assumption by the institutional systems that he will have any kind of productive or healthy guidance upon release. This is a generalization made based on consistent precedent, the circumstances of which are concomitant of existing cultural manifolds. The only answer they have is "contain," because such a system breeds a lack of critical thought, and profit models discourage reform.

  • @NodrogTrax I don't disagree with him going to jail but honestly 10 years is extreme - at least he should be jailed until he's a legal adult (18 or 21 not sure what the law is there) and then be reassessed for release or further imprisonment . Compared to what kids in the UK get away with it does seem far too long - just look at the recent London riots.

  • @julesmaester The longer the imprisonment, the greater the chances of re-offence. White kids steal cars all the time, and they rarely get any serious sentencing, because an assumption is made that they have better support and better safety nets and will have the opportunities to conform. Everything can be understood, and the ethnic makeup of prison populations is not ambiguous. With a hard adult sentence, the system has made it a near certainty that this kid will be a career criminal.

  • @julesmaester That's probably why they gave him the boot camp sentence.

  • @julesmaester welcome to America.

  • @julesmaester Yeah, 14 year old could kill someone in Canada and get 10 years, maybe even less.

  • @julesmaester Hes black u feel me?

  • @SakaBoyy i bet if he was white it would have been a totally diff story

  • @julesmaester ya, that's pretty fucking sick.

  • @julesmaester coz he's black

  • @julesmaester Look at his past record, not just the GTA... Where do you think this kid is headed? He has no structure in the home he came from. The only ones that care about him are these instructors. Great program.

  • damn babygirl @10:19 look good

  • If he had committed the 3 murders in Sweden at the age of 16, not only he would NOT go to jail he would also get a new identity!

  • Louis: "How badly did you beat him?"

Johnny: " How badly did I beat him? (pause)...enough to make him stop".

    Johnny 1 Louis 0. :)

  • a 14 year old in jail? wtf

  • beating a pshyc hill person... what an animal

  • AYE AYE SIR

  • That camera said "prision run". Oh, America.

  • A 14 year old sentenced as an adult, going to an adult prison..Damn the US System is fucking barbaric!! Unbelievable...just un be lievable!

  • driill instructer FAIZON 0:33 two face ass

  • That boot camp was a very good idea... get em' when they are young because once they are hardened crooks there is nothing the system can do but hold them in jail like caged animals until they die.

  • Louis here is a graduate from oxford and from 13:20 he gets taught a lesson of life from a prisoner.

Knowledge is Power and what the streets taught some of the inmates could never be matched by any book.

    Real Talk from Johnny.

  • @Secret911 yeah he got a real "lesson in life" from someone behind bars for the rest of their life, really clever guy

  • @zolalegend1

Shut up and go read nursery rhymes you illiterate cunt

  • @Secret911 Lol, that wasn't a lesson of life. I'm not gonna go attack some guy to make myself feel better.

  • @Secret911

Thats wrong. What he said is not a lesson of life but lesson of gang life or/and criminal life. And its wrong too. Do you beat a guy who dosnt respect you in a prison? Yes if you have the "street life" mentality, that primitive thinking. Does that make it right? No.

But after all the whole system is corrupt and you can see the prison system here too, they keep 5 or so people together which i think is extremely unfair and stupid.

  • @StarBoyFG I believe you slightly missed what he was explaining. Who are you to say what is/isn't a lesson that can be applicable for somebody elses life? It isn't about right or wrong, it's about a feeling of self value and being able to convey that in the way you know best. Unfortunately for Johnny, in turn substituiting how others percieve you.

  • @Secret911

Don't give me that romantic bullshit. They're in jail, probably for most of their lives. What the streets taught them is how to fail at life.

  • @Secret911 there was no wisdom there. only capitulation.

  • @TheRealSmacker exactly

  • @Secret911 No he does not, and that prisoner would not get far with that kind of wisdom...I mean damn it is kind of obvious since the guy is in Jail...

  • @Secret911

Agression and anger are emotions not diseases...

And let's assume this Johnny here is guilty...then he deserves no remorse whatsoever if I you ask me.

  • @GlassOfWater87 These are philosophical questions about determinism and free will that have been rehashed over and over for the last X thousand years; put to bed by now. The fact is that there is no free will, only a sensation of choice. Which is thus illusory in the big picture. We all deserve remorse. Did Osama Bin Laden choose to be born in Arabia? Did he chose to believe x,y,z? What about this guy? We will get nowhere with the primitive "inside the box" notions of justice (i.e. revenge).

  • at 9:35 pause and look at the face of the officer like #WTF!!?

  • that nigga Johnny is awesome: I feel like I deserve a little sympathy and understanding too, Ive been here for 2 years..

  • @mandrke2004

    Real talk.

    He's mexican though

  • Thank you for uploading this

  • It's absurd that this is the only program (shown anyway) that actually attempts to help the inmates. Most of the guys in the jail are going to be back on street sooner rather than later. If they don't have some way to better themselves, they'll just end up better criminals.

  • so which ones more important. for me to be seen as a monster in your eyes or for me to feel like i have no respect in mine. (SOOO TRUE)

  • @wyoat1 ?

  • 3:30,he looks like Randleman

  • @MrArsenalist hahaha yes he really does!

  • Did anyone see the kid at the very very beginning fall back in line. Cracked me up the way he ran

  • i went nutty too looooooool

  • A good citizen is when you kill "legal". Interesting world we live in...

  • oh snap nasty officer colemen mang i went to bootcamp it does not change you change yourself but they will make you appreciate the life on the outs

  • That boot camp barber should have gone to specsavers

  • @mytubeprofile2010 looool

  • lmfao that guy that suddently woke up sayin waaaaaaaaaaaaah

scared the hell out of me lol

  • Were they forcing those boot camp kids to sit through a prayer before they eat? Fuck that shit.

  • Gunnin' @ 10:18

  • officer faizon,laster.sgt.edgekomb...fuck boot kamp

  • Immature monkeys with metal mouths. Wow.

  • the guy with the pony tail comes accross as naturally quiet intelligent. a few english classes and hed away with it!!

  • @hulkomania But look in his eyes; the 1000-Yard-Stare, he's a sociopath both charming and deadly.

  • Oh man.. I really hope that 14 year old makes it through boot camp successfully. I can't even begin to imagine how bad jail would be for this kid. I def think that guy who got kicked out is going through drug withdrawal.. He should be under medical supervision...

  • I know they're all crims and shit but as a human, you cant help but feel sorry for them. Esp them nyeahs in Bootcamp. Mah f4ckers just need a hug or something loL

  • HAhahhahahaha! 09:34!

  • at 10:07 it says prision lol

  • Everytime I see Louis he is always making a mockery out of America. Go back to the UK and ask dumbass questions to the inmates there.
