karnov was a great game for me all the reviews that say is bad is because they don't know how to play it. the movie is probably the best videogame movie. Karnov is the first boss in the 1988 Dragon Ninja arcade game

Karnov made many numerous appearances in Data East's arcade games. He was probably Data East's mascot, which is one reason why the former Data East staff of Paon bought the rights to him, his cousin Chelnov, and The Glory of Heracles franchise. I'm not sure if that's all, but I haven't seen The Cliffhanger: Edward Randy, Ring King nor Night Slashers mentioned anywhere.

The spoof is that besides Karnov, various NES Characters from various games appear.

Karnov walking through the snow was an awesome shot, also, his fat breasts shaking as he ran away in the castle. AWESOME MOVIE.

That was great. Karnov was a NES game people, I think it was a arcade game first. The first level had realy cool music. The ladder part brought back memories LOL.

Karnov was not a specific NES game, it was released at the same time on the C64, ZX Spectrum, Amiga & Atari ST. And yes, it was based on the brilliant arcade version that i used to play as teen. I almost finised it, but not quite.. great game :)
