Thank you,thank you thank you for this great video and introducing me to Eva Taylor. This is also one of my all time favorite music selections by Clyde Mcoy which I discovered about 1962 when I was 14.

My first guess was that these would be Danes, he - he!

The Danes are great fans of dixieland jass.

They play in the streets all day in the summer, drinking enormous amounts of beer.

Each song Sure brings back a lot of memories. Eva Taylor is my grandmother. I was at that performance with my father Spencer Williams and my mother Geraldine. We three accompanied my Grandmother on that tour. Feels like it was just yesterday I love seeing her perform. You can see my father in the background.

Just happened on these videos this morning, your Grandmother was a NATIONAL TREASURE. It is a darn shame that such talent as hers was allowed to fade, and thank God for those folks in Europe in the 60's who brought so many of these great ladies back to let them know they were not forgotten.

I take special pride in your Grandmother as she was from St. Louis which is my home.
