Floyd does use this. He admitted to it a very long time ago. The reason why is he broke his hand awhile ago in a fight and his hand was never the same. He said the only way he could continue boxing is using it, but only vegas allowed it. He said he wouldn't be able to fight without it because the pain in his hand would be too much.

@emekonen floyd was a guy who brawled and threw hard combos,then we started seeing him punching less and moving more,but the ones who dont kno about boxing started saying he was afriaid to engage, it was because of his hand problems, he started fighting more defensive,fighting going back. he started fighting less and taking time off to heal, he come back and starts fighting straight ahead again. Hes let the hands heal by being cautious,skills is what wins him fights not numbed hands its bullshit

Floyd ADMITS to using it before fights and one of the ONLY places you can before a fight is Vegas, trust me I worked out there. Most fighters would put it in an injured shoulder or whatever, Floyd pioneered its use in the hands because there is no law prohibiting him from doing so! I am a fan of boxing and have worked several years in the NSAC, not a "pactard" as you claim.
if xylocaine is a numbing agent who knows if floyd shoots its up on his stomach or face so he feels less pain against face and body shots.......
