This is not meant to be mean, but there are a few concertos that one must go through before they reach Haydn D, and at 11 years old you cannot have gone through them all. The minor problems could probably have been fixed with a little saint saens or a little elgar depending on which conertos he skipped. This is still crazy good for an 11 year old!

ok maybe I was a bit fast with recommending; I should explain. Well, the playing is incredible and very good and so on for an 11-year-old cellist; but what I mean is that it seems to be to early for playing Haydn's d-major concerto. If I don't see who's playing and I only listen to the record I must admit that I would never continue listening for longer than 30 seconds. ..... I must say sorry; my first comment was to harsh. I'm sure that you will be a really excellent cellist in 10 years or so!
It seems that you know nothing about music... I've heard older and more famous cellis playing this and santiago has an exellent classic style, Maybe the hardest part of this concert
@gunswiohdn talking of "classic" / "classical" / "authentic" / such, have you checked out such interpretations as those of Coin or Bylsma? Highly recommended (if you're appreciative of the more "authentic" approaches ...) Cheers :-)
close your eyes and appreciate, not hate, would you want another person tell you that you sounds ten times more horrible than him when you were twelve? or maybe now still?
Saludos, Rodrigo
You should try playing your own cadenza! One little suggestion - in Haydn it's the 1st and 3rd beat that give the swing of the whole music. You may want to try it, and play a bit faster!! Otherwise - great, I'm speechless!!!
Thanks, I have a big problem now, my teacher is in Poland and I still alone, I want to leave to study wlth him in Poland, but I´m a child, and I nedd to leave with my mother, Thanks for your comennts!!!
