What is interesting is Outsourcing/Offshoring does not help elliminate Global Poverty or Social Inequality.

What is only happening is the Poverty in India, China, Mexico, and Africa will be replaced with the poverty in America.

This economic recession, or actually Global Depression will not stop unless we act and do something about it.

The U.S. economy is the largest in the world, but as it collapses it will decay over time.

We have a strong sense of respect for our environment in america. Unfortunately, a lot of businesses are going overseas to skirt around these regulations. The few that remain domestic can't compete with foreign companies. We should have been rallying together to stop this years ago. Future generations are in debt as everyone pays for the ruination of earth. Greed is the primary reason we're losing a strong manufacturing base, but also a lack of respect for the environment in business.

1) America is now the most indebted nation in all history.

2) America sinks $2 billion further into debt, every 24 hours.

3) The only thing maintaining America's "superpower" status, is the willingness of foreigners to keep financing that debt. ONCE THE US DOLLAR LOSES RESERVE CURRENCY ROLE, THE PARTY WILL END.

The US is literally bankrupt.

This is a complete myth. The fact is, outsourcing helps America by driving prices down for consumers and stimulating the economy. It also creates MORE and better jobs for Americans. By outsourcing, many companies save their employees from being laid off. They also make better products. When consumer-driven, free market capitalism is left to decide, Americans are ALWAYS better off.

The US now has deficits across the entire board: from cheap products, to high-end, precision engineered products. Off-shoring has been such a "benefit" that America is $10 trillion in debt. Lower prices have "helped" consumers get into the worst debt levels ever recorded, leaving uni grads to work in bars and 3 million manufacturing jobs gone.

One of the biggest cracks in the international labor movement is the idea that some people's jobs matter more than others, ie: It's OK to offshore toaster-assembly, but not data-entry; it's OK to import garment workers, but not professors. I am sick of trying to defend my job based on anything other than I NEED a job. And every country needs their own people to work in whatever capacity supports their tax base, appropriate to their $ system - capitalist, communist, or agrarian.

Outsourcing is great but not the way it is done in this video. If a privet US company wishes to expand over seas then that is great and will give us new and cheaper products. However if the government plans to steal our money to create jobs overseas for products we are not buying well now there is a problem. The government in this video redirected credit going to an American business and moved it over seas not following the companies or Americans interest.

My daughter works for a company that is outsourcing jobs to illegal Indians in India.

They want her to train them so they can take the company over to India...she refuses to do it...Today they bribed her and told her they will pay her more money and move her up in the company...She declined...Vote for Obama.

Outsourcing caused China to grow beyond belief. This caused more oil use by them. This caused the prices to go UP UP UP. This in turn caused gas prices to go up worldwide. Just think of outsourcing every time you go to the gas pump. China's mass use of oil like us effects supply and demand. It really is not the oil companies doing. This is Walmart,Nike and all the other companies over there. A chinese ambassador said that U.S. capitolism is the reason of their growth.

Canada had a HUGE census a few years back, it was against the law to not participate...they sold that info. to Lockheed Martin, so that they knew the Canadian demographics better! Our belief, they wanted it so that they know which areas could be used for their advances and which could be "removed"...peace!

Otsourcing is the result of special interest groups courting uncaring american politicians who care more about their own pockets than the American citizens they are supposed to represent. We are putting our national security and economy at risk. As the standard of living rises in other countries, it is done so at the cost to the American middle calss.

Well said! As someone who has worked in the High Tech Industry for 30 years, I've seen it decimated since 2000. Wages have gone down about 20% across the board. The number of jobs has been cut in half because of outsourcing, and the corporations are taking full advantage of the people they hire.

I don't have to tell you what this has done to the economy.
