I noticed you are using a 550 watt speaker. What speakers do you recommend for me if I only want to set up a karaoke system for family use? I live in a condo only so the living room is not that big. Can you advise the ideal wattage and the brand for my situation? Thanks.
Depending on the time of the year, we can get shows with over 15 singers, other times we are lucky to get 6. The best part is our singers like doing new songs!
Cool video. I also use Behringer speakers for my small karaoke gigs. I use the 215D series. I actually turn the bass knob up to around 2 o'clock on mine though. I like to hear bass. What software are you using now? I used to use Sax n Dotty's Show Presenter, but now I use Karma.

Hello, I personally like having two powered speakers, two speaker stands and a mixer, with Nady wireless microphones
You could quite easily get by with a single Behringer B208D Powered Loudspeaker 220 watts; It will be loud enough for home use
On Ebay I bought a small PA that clips together; two speakers and a mixer; over here in Australia they go for around $250

i have a similar setup, its very cool to watch a fellow kj on the same level. How's the karaoke scene down under?

Hello, I found the Behringer speakers naturally have high bass. If I don't turn it down it muddies the vocals from the singers.
I use the Karma Karaoke program. I like that I can shuffle between karaoke songs and music videos.
There have been improvements in Karma software - It uses less processor power and does not freeze anymore.
