  • id like to see windows 7 run on it : )

  • HOW THE HELL DID THIS COMPUTER SURVIVE A VIRUS?!

  • today I went to my parents home to retrieve a new in a box 8086 that I saved in the attic

turned out my dad trowed it away some year ago, I had to hold myself to punch his lights out

it was similar as yours , but "new"

  • What's your average framerate when running Crysis 2 at max settings??!

  • @dontbannme254012 mmm 80 fps at medium settings and 95 fps at max settings :D

  • @Obmarmm Are you upgraded to direct x 11?? Do you have anything in SLI?

  • @dontbannme254012 no man, I only have an overclocked turbo CGA Video Card Pro with Ultra 256 kb of RAM and Directx Eye-DOS :D

  • @Obmarmm Oh, man. Does that CGA have Phys-x?

  • @dontbannme254012 of course, that has it's own kind of phys-x called "dust now!"

  • @Obmarmm Damn, dude! I gotta upgrade!

  • @dontbannme254012 hahaha of course!!! that's the better way to enter to the CGA Virtual Game Experience!!! :D

  • Wow dude it's awesome ! my extreme PC -- not extreme PC ! This monster is Extreme PC . My 386 sx not extreme but 8086 is Really Monster :)

  • Is not an 8086, pobably a NEC V20 processor (like an 8088) 10 Mhz, Hercules video card.

  • CNN is the communist news network and Obama is a seditious traitor that supports new wars, globalist NWO, banking cabals and the oligarchical collectivists in their quest to destroy freedom, liberty, the constitution and the USA. You should be utterly ashamed of having that corrupt low life in a video of yours.

  • IBM MODEL M KEYBOARD RULES!!!

  • I have a Olivetti M240 with a 8086 CPU too

it boot up too still, but the floppy drive won't read the floppys

  • why you dont use volkov commander? just need to get proper 5.25 :)

  • where is the crysis gameplay!!!?

  • @camargo2012

I do that on a 286 in my channel.

  • this would be a nice vid but the music ruins it for me

  • you forgot about the 8088, intel made an 8088 processor......they also made a 80188, and 80186.

  • I WANT IT *-*

  • Brings tears to my eyes. My 8086 only had the 640K RAM, though, which it took forever to count during each boot. I did have a spiffy EGA monitor, though. I even played Monkey Island on it - loading times between screens were terrible, and the game cut out some bits for memory reasons (moving clouds in the intro, the pirate in the chandelier in the Scumm Bar, etc.). Those really were the days.

  • That's pretty fast! my 8086 only has 256k of RAM :D and has a CGA video card

  • @Obmarmm Unfortunately, my 8086 is long gone. It died on me over 15 years ago. One day, when booting up, after counting the 640K memory, there was a pause and then simply this text:

    BASIC???

Never did find out what was wrong. It never recovered. *sniff*

  • WoooooooW...i like the power button :P

  • This computer brings up memories.

  • a super computer XD

  • of course it does, Windows 7 supported :D

  • @MachinimaMan141

    *PUNCH

  • Neat. I take it this has a Hercules card since everything is monochrome and you had to change modes to run CGA games. What are the full specs?

  • I think with a new HDD you can try to install windows 95 I mean this is a 16 bit System.

  • Windows 95 requires 80386 extensions AFAIK, so it can't be loaded on anything before a 386.

  • @MeteorusII You can not unfortunately, toms611 is correct. Windows 95 runs in protected mode, and also requires 80386 extensions in order to work.

  • You should clean that nasty case...

  • is it posssible to put xp on that computer if you upgraded the hd

  • Obviously not....

  • No, it is not possible. The 8086 is a 16 bit CPU, XP only works with 32 bit or above. I can't even imaging how slow it would be. Ugh, the days where your OS and graphical environment fit on a single 1.44MB floppy are gone.

  • maybe you could try Vista Home.. or why not, Me..

OMG bro, Dos were just come out when 8086 were presented.

I think that XP couldn't run nor on a Pentium.. even a Pentium II..

  • Xp can run on a Pentium 133mhz for sure. There's a record running XP on a Pentium at 7mhz(trick). But XP won't work on a 486.

  • @Jumpseri

There are two ways to get it to run on a 486 board. One is with an Intel Overdrive chip. I managed it with a Cyrix 5x86.

  • The music mask the sound effects of the original IBM XT computer.

  • I had the same computer with similar games. Next time make a video without the music.

  • pure nerd porn, i got a semi watching this!!!

  • hahahaha!! xD

  • LOL nice:) But this is not the first Intel computer generation:) you forgot the 8080 one

  • and the 8008 :D

    and um. 4004 :D

  • MITS altair with intel 8080

  • Great video man!
