I have a better explanation. The berry in the cutscene did, in fact count. But you focused more on the wall and missed a berry that fell and was to the left of the wall. Berries you don't pick up eventually burst, meaning you lose a berry if its left unharvested, that happened in this case.

Did chugga not notice the berry he left to rot at 6:20 in the video. That's why he didn't have a total of two sprays, it WASN'T the ship's fault for taking the first one. I hope he fixes his explanation at 8:10.

@Gingy181 Actually what Chuggaa says is very much correct. The first berry taken by the ship doesn't count. The lone berry at 6:20 was eventually picked up when he had his other Pikmin getting the berries on the flowers. They tend to go for any berries nearby on the ground, and that one was close to the berries. So it was already picked up, hence why it wasn't there

Swarming Male sheargrubs is a great way to kill them in Pikmin 2 since, like I said, enemies can no longer continue eating pikmin after death. 9:44

You didn't bring back a berry. After a certain amount of time they burst. That's why u didn't get a second spray. 6:18

If a Cloaking Burrow-nit catches a pikmin you will not loose it if you kill him before he finishes eating it. As with most enemies in pikmin two. Unlike the glitch in the first pikmin. 6:44

No the ship does count the first berry you get. Otherwise you would have not gotten that first spray after the two plants. Each plant has 5 berries each spawn. 8:14
