  • It's really upsetting when "they" claim electrics are silent cause they know when people actually hear them and say, they are not silent, they won't buy, but if they said, they are about as loud as a puring lion, then people would associate that as pretty dang quiet and be much more apt to buy electrics or DIY one.

  • the only sound you hear is the chain and a very slight whine of the motor but compared to any other motorcycle its definitly silent. I sneak up on people all the time!

  • Hi. Shouldn't EV's make no noise. Just wondering.

  • very cool!! I'm doing the same thing for my senior project. What donor bike did you use and how much voltage is it running ?

BTW, is the electrical wiring difficult ? because i have no wiring experience.

  • @MarigaSam Hi, thats awesome! yes if you have never done it before it will be fairly difficult however you can always make things simpler by having less accessory lights and such. I would try to find someone you know to help you with wiring though because you dont want to mess around with 48volts and risk damaging components or yourself. My bike runs at 48volts and the bike frame was an old suzuki gs500

  • dude, great job on the bike AND the video..... really well done.

How do you like the kelly and the Mars? Is that a soneil DC-DC?
