Could you give me your honest opinion , I have had 3000+ pedals in the last 5 years, yeah all of them ! , some from you , a year ago I just stopped, nothing was floating the boat any more there were just 2-3 that still intrigued me the Zia , and now these 2 JHS pedals Angry Charlie and All American , these sound as good as it gets online , if there were just 2 or 3 Dirt pedals you had to keep what would they be? Thanks
@sidecrusher I can tell you that the All American is as amazing as pedals get, and as a whole, JHS is as good as they get. Pricey, but heck, you get what you pay for! The AA is VERY versatile, can be used from a light OD to a Rat-like distort. Great pedal.
@fordmatic it is also very toxic and tough to deal with. Breathing in the fumes from sanding it can kill you. Just a fun fact. That's something that usually drives the price up
@fooschmack he's been finger-picking 99,9% of the time since the first PGS video demo. Some people think he's holding a pick when he's not. I can only remember 2 videos where he actually used a pick and I 've been watching PGS demos since they had only 10 videos or so.
Wow, I was looking at the Rev. Buckshot thinking that'd be my next guitar, but I think this one beats it for me :O Man I'm loving Reverend. They should be big.
I have a problem. I get an email every once in a while with my Youtube Subscription updates, but there's never any new PGS videos, because I always watch them immediately after they're uploaded lol...
PGS can you tell me what's the difference between this Korinawood and "Gibson Korina"? because I want to know how they can justify a flying V costing 10.000 dollars!
@Guitarvirtuoso666 , the Gibson Korina flying V is a replica of the original 58' Gibson flying V, which was made out of korina wood (aka white limba wood). The only similarities here are the this Reverend model is made of korina. It is a wood similar in density to mahogany, with a similar grain, but lighter color and a slightly different midrange emphasis. A lot of people like it for being a little lighter than and having a tonality that is clearer and less dark than mahogany
@Guitarvirtuoso666 Thats like saying why people buy a Rolex when they cant buy a watch at CVS for $5? Rich things for rich people..also admit it, that Korina flying v is one of the best looking guitars out there and id love to buy one USED.
@BriansSecretDoor best bet is used. The Jetstream 390 isn't part of reverends current line up, but I expect they'll bring it back at some point. Seems like they rotate configurations often enough. They currently have two 3p90 set neck guitars, the Warhawk 390 and the Asheton V.
@dixiedevil1369 Made in Korea. No big secret there - mostly all the Asian imports are a fraction the price of a USA-built instrument. That's not necessarily a good thing.
Sounds just great. For my first "real" guitar I was thinking P-90 all the way but at the last moment went the Tele Std. way. But your first guitart doesn't have to be your last.. I'M sure I'll add one with P-90s somewhen later and this also looks great.
I love the bass contour feature! Really sets the guitar apart from other guitars, a truly unique (and lovely!) tone

I am really liking this guitar. Hey PGS do you find the p90s to be too noisy or can they be tamed with a gate?

Anyone noticed how Andy's been exclusively finger-picking lately? Me thinks he's had all his finger tips sanded down and replaced with nylon.

@fooschmack He alway picks with just his fingers. Very rarely he'll use a pick.

@mmmboobs
Yeah, but the flying V is a fairly simple guitar, nothing like a carved top... even for a gibson, it should cost 3 grand at max:p
I have a mid 70's Ibanez copy of that V, and I'm perfectly happy with it

Hey PGS, how is the bass contour different than a tone pot? Is it just that it rolls off lows instead of highs?
