Ever notice whenever you to a spin attack you can hear a flute trill really quietly?

This was tied with Majora's Mask as the best until Skyward Sword came out. This Link is still arguably the best, he developed so much as a character. WeakyMcWeakLittleBoy >to> PirateBeastMcBadass. He seemed like a stand-in hero, like what OOT/MM Link would have been without the 7-year time freeze to help him strengthen. Skyward Sword Link is still "The Hero" though, even OOT/MM wasn't quite so manly. I'm more emotionally attached to the older Links, I'll admit it.

@SuperiorFlavour Ehhh I haven't played Skyward Sword but I hate motion controllers-Not saying Skyward's bad(hell no, most LOZ's are AMAZING), but I personally saw it as a straight up revamped Twilight Princess. You go into a second realm, collect some objects to purify an area, and then proceed into a dungeon.

That is nowhere near as awesome as Wind Waker-You ride around the ocean, controlling the wind, kicking ass to save your sister. Seems better overall.

@mamaluigi6666 I think Wind Waker, for me, is the most nostalgic. Brings back the most memories. As an overall game I prefer the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess for the adventure and depth. not to mention brilliant landscapes, although that's more of a minor detail in gaming. Nonetheless, Wind Waker is still an epic adventure with an awesome story and I think it's sad it got so overlooked just because of the cartoony graphics.

I must respectfully disagree with you. Ever since SS's been out I've had to rethink which Zelda is best.  The new one has so much humanity in it. And the traveling isn't as dreadful as Wind Waker's.
