If this "trailer" is the actual short, then that makes sense, because it uses footage that wasn't in the OVA, and I've been unable to find the original pilot anywhere. When I first watched Cencoroll, I loved it!

I though the idea and concept was GREAT!

Its supposedly a "movie" but its only 25 minutes long.

Honestly, if this was a real show, IT COULD HONESTLY BE ONE OF THE BEST ANIMES EVER MADE!

This guy needs to get some assistants or something because I REALLY love this series V_V. It would be really nice if it could be a real anime, or just a longer movie. It sucks waiting years for a 25min episode, But you gotta give this guy props for doing it by himself.

it was originally going to be a full length movie and then it got cancelled, some guy picked it up and made a 30 min thing out of it, what u saw in this trailer is what WAS going to be in the full length, at least thats what i hear, dont take my word for it

The reason why it is different that the actual movie is becuase of budget cuts and a time limit. Uki made this because he could work on it whenever he wanted but when he got support from anime innovation tokyo he had only a while to work on it before it had to be released. So he had to make some changes to his style and the story so that it could be shorter.

Well, like Nishikaze630 already said, this was more like a rough draft before working on the actual movie so I'm not surprised that they changed the plot for the final version. I heard the movie is short too because there was a deadline that needed to be met. (it's still an awesome movie though, especially with all the work Atsuya Uki put in. Most animators have more staff to help work on projects)

this is only 1.5 minutes, he made it two years before the film but at the time did not intend to make it Cencoroll into a movie...then because it became so popular, he decided to do a film. because he did practically all of it by himself (animation, screenplay, art..etc.) he had to simplify it. this has a lot more detail because it's shorter.

Erm.. i saw it a week ago.. but if i can remember right.. this story is about a boy and that creature like thing..One day when the girl throws away trash and sees a bike...She thought it was suspicous but walked outside.. then she sees the boy with 1 creature.. then she looks back,she sees the bike like.. around 7 feet behind her.. the boy said it is mines.the girl sees an eye on the back of the bikes seat and pokes it.. causing the bike to transform back to the creature(yes it can transform)
